Thanks Geoffrey!!!! I really appreciate that.. I use a separate mic pack and then scythe audio in post while I'm editing. I never use the audio out of the camera.

I don't know why anyone would hate because you have different wheels? It's a kit. Just seems like bored ass people looking for something to complain about. I don't have Halibrand wheels on mine, but honestly I'm going to get some just because I like the nostalgic look. Your wheels are actually pretty cool looking.

Love this vid, you helped me with the side mirrors vid you did before but didn’t mention the convex mirror at that time, that’s why it’s always good to catch up on your videos. BTW do you have a link for your stereo? I’d appreciate that too.

I didn't figure out the convex mirror trick till way after that original mirror installation video came out. but it's a great trick!!! I'm pretty sure JL Audio doesn't make my deck any more is was the JL Audio Media Master 100S. It's a waterproof marine radio. I did also use the JL Audio Marine waterproof speakers. Beautiful car. I have a F5 MK2 with the 302 and T5, so as you went through the car, I almost "saw" my car in this video if that makes sense. Exhaust sounded awesome. Great video, and thanks for walking us through your car. Didn't know the 289 vs. 427 body trivia regarding the roll bar - I always wondered what that distinguishing characteristic meant!

Very nice car! Been looking to build F5 cobra. You and I must have same taste. I like duel roll bars myself. 427 badge is a must even if you have a 302. Love the color, love the car. Great job on little detail mods. My plan is to put a 5.0 coyote engine, wonder how that’s going to work out.

Thanks Paul! The ones I've seen with the coyote motors are super bad a$$. The power to weight ratio is off the chart. Just need the right width on the rear rubber to keep that a$$ from breaking loose all the time on ya.

Factory Five corrected the "perky butt" when they introduced the Mark IV. The earlier cars are still fun to drive but just don't look right.

Nice ride!!!! I am a fellow FFR MKIV builder and owner. Waiting on paint at this point. I hear ya about the double roll bars. I installed them on mine as well. It is a safety feature for a car that has very few. I did not install any sound system and in hindsight maybe it would have been fun. As for the purists........ Last time I checked this is a roadster and not an original Cobra. So....... Who cares what folks think or say.

You are correct about the wheels, A few people have brought it up to my attention. It's what happens when you don't build the car yourself. I am not a member of the CCC, but I know a few guys in the group. At a lot of the same events.

The seats are the high back Factory Five Street Fighter Seats, they don't make the anymore . I love them for the neck/head support. The car is Colorado Red.

Haters gonna hate, but screw 'em your car is bad ass. I have a Coyote and dual roll bars on mine, but then I have zero Shelby or cobra logos on mine and Halibrands, but they are 18" wheels. They don't know what to think, but that's the beauty of a custom car.

Cruisin around town, no problem hearing the radio. At highway speed its more difficult to hear, so I amped it and now its no longer an issue, but obviously there is still a tremendous amount of wind noise.

The engine is awesome, in my opinion just right for such a lightweight car. Bill Cosby had an insane horsepower Cobra built & it scared him so much he got rid of it. The wheels that are being called hillibran are not, not even close. I had a set many years ago and they were built in Africa. I think there's some sort of trademark problem. The ones that are being sold from American racing which factory five has and everybody else has are just cast Wheels. Nothing special. I heard that ffr was building their own wheels I didn't know it was the 818 Wheels. Must agree I think they look pretty good. Wife talking to you yet?
