Its weird to think how many people hate us for being catholic. Catholics love Protestants we are brothers and sisters in christ. Sure we dont agree on some things but i always thought the love was there the love we share of God. i always thought it was same back. Its nice to see how many people are so open about how they used to feel. It takes courage to say im sorry i was wrong. Yes where i am its the RCIA program but is for people who want to learn about Catholicism and its encouraged that Catholics attend too. Lets be real craddle catholics often have a small understanding about their faith. I am catholic and my husband is he was curious about the class and went and i tagged along. I learned alot and actually had some of my questions answered that had confused me as a child. Like the great Ted Lasso said " be curious not judgemental". I encourge everyone to learn not just your faith but others what they believe how does it differ and how do you know where you fall. Grade 11 here in canada in catholic highschool we take world religions i still remember my project on Hinduism. I had a million times the work as everyone else they have a lot of Gods. Which brought me to conclusion that its a false belief. Which God is the strongest who rules there can only be one God not many. One God in three parts to make a whole. ❤ God bless you on your journey ❤️🙏

I was an anti-Catholic Protestant for over 30 years until God pulled me into a Catholic confession, then I found the true church. My story is on my channel, and now I defend the faith.

This is a strong and wonderful testimony. Actually made me cry realizing what barriers there are for many people between the truth and themselves. And how we as Catholics and sheer misunderstandings contribute to those difficulties. I am sorry - yet grateful at the same time, that I had the grace to be basically born into this grace. Praise the Holy Spirit for giving you the strength to prevail. Halleluja from Berlin / Germany. ❤

Nice testimony. I was born in 1954 and immediately was baptised in Catholicism (Both of my parents were Catholic). The, from 1960 to 1968 I attended Catholic grade school, primarily with Sisters of Mercy nuns (Been drilled in by "Baltimore Catechism No. 2"!) Then high school til 1972 with the Christian Brothers. By then, I'd pretty much stopped going to mass, attending religion classes, etc. Occasionally, if I was traveling, e.g. Europe, Middle East, I'd visit Mass. About 10-15 years ago, I got re-interested by my Catholicism and I now have a up-to-date version of Catechism and study that. I also bought a book for "Christian Prayer", i.e. Liturgy of the Hours. Leaving off the details, I've become a more fervent Catholic after 5-10 years after some serious health issues and I since practice my feelings / beliefs.

I was similar. Born into a Catholic family, went to Catholic mass every week as a child, Catholic school, but like I suspect all of my childhood friends, was not really a believer. When I got older I could have easily walked away. Later in life I chose to be a Catholic. None of my childhood made me a Catholic. I chose it. I am so glad I am Catholic. I thank God everyday.

This showed up in my recommended. I love watching conversion stories :) It is so true what you said about the Catholic teaching on fertility. It is counter cultural as most all Catholic teachings are. What I thought about recently is how God may have planned potential siblings of mine to come into this world, that never came into existence because of an act of contraception. My one sister is my best friend and greatest gift. No amount of money, career, or material in the world is more valuable than a human soul. Congratulations and praise God you were led to the one true faith.

Wow! Praise God! Welcome! Such a beautiful faith filled explanation. We Catholics have difficulties with fertility and what it means....things in the wrong order..... we could learn so much from you! Misunderstandings of so many topics are no surprise in our world! Things are so backwards in the public view! I am blessed to really yearn to go to church, to have my day start with prayer, to desire a small bible study group, and to listen to your faith story. Converts become strong Catholics! Thank you so much for sharing!

I used to think like that too but then I realized no one had ever pointed out to me what Jesus did in Matthew 16:18? 🤯

Because He started the Catholic Church and He wants His people united. Because the Catholic Church is the only way to receive Him in the Eucharist.
