I’m a first generation Canadian citizen and my grandfather got rock bottom too and my family has never been able to recover and bounce back…I largely blame the Canadian economy, housing market and poor governance over the last 30 years…I’m not sure how to escape this fate…

only thing with gold is - - have you tried selling it ? painful. i'd really like your start to finish gold best practices/ options. i own some gold 1% of my portfolio - just as a form of 'insurance' - but i have found that selling it is costly & annoying.

I wonder about this alot, too and I've seen videos of people (unsuccessfully) tryi ng to sell their silver. .. in EU. all I know is Psalm 23 and Psalm 91 and GOD has never let us down... Yeah we’re in the oil age. Gold used to be the standard but now our “money”, an imaginary idea, is attached to oil, a finite, planet-killing source of energy. That’s why it’s failing.
