Great video, great game! According to the german rules after the last round with a card drawn each player has an additional last farm action of their choice (without rolling the dice).

Although they have a different theme, this game shares a LOT in common with Space Base. You probably don't need both games in your collection, but if one theme draws you in more than the other, I suggest getting that game over the other.

The correct term is 'Farm Stand' for an unenclosed retail stall at a farm which sells fresh farm produce.

I thought it was a bit strange that getting any one good is on position 4, and therefore more likely than the specific good in position 3, but then I noticed that that specific good is also obtainable at position 8. Nice! I own Space Base and I can see the similarities, but I think this game is easier/friendlier, both in theme and mechanics. Once again, nice video!

At the end of the game shouldn't all players have performed one free activation of any field without the dice to end it?

At 24:40 she rolls 1, 5, 6. She totally misses 5+6=11, scoring 8 vp coins plus a sack, instead opting to take the 5, for production of 2 burlap sacks plus a vp that she places on 6. She hits it next turn, but she could have hit it on two consecutive turns, giving her 16 vp! Yarg! What a cool game. Glad I pre-ordered it.Only found out about this game based on Rhado practically exploding when he reviewed it recently.

Early on, you said you can't spend 1 to go from 12 to 3, but 12 shares the space with 2. Is the 2/12 space considered both simultaneously? If it is, can't I spend 1 to go from 2 to 3? If it is not, how do I decide if it's a 12 or a 2? Confuzzled.

God damn it! Such an interesting game! Thank you for showing it to us. I was floored. It's a farming game and no meat? It's like the most basic produce at a farm and yet we educate children that farms produce wool... I despair for humanity at this point. Tangent aside, great showcase. Seems fun!

Yes farms produce wool, or more acturaly wool fleece, that would be a sheep farm so nothing inaccurate their. Note that farm stands at a farm can't effecivly sell meat because of the need for refrigeration and the quantity that comes from even a modest sized slaughtered animal will vastly exceed the amount they can usually sell to folks driving past, even at modern farmers markets selling meat is very difficult. Animal slaughter and butchering is a specialized skill most farmers, even thouse that raise animals lack on top of the fact you can't sell meat unless it's butchered in FDA certified facilities that are completly impractical to have at each individual farm. Thus nearly all farmers either sell most of their livestock at auction, or if they want to consume it themselves, they contract with a slaughterhouse that will butcher the way they want and deliver all the meat back to them frozen and ready to be put in their freezer. The items the game uses ARE good farm stand items (though they failed to include corn or vegtables which really are the most common items sold), fresh eggs are easily collected and sold and have minimal regulations on their sale, honey is natrually anti-microbial and effectivly impossible to spoil meaning people have no fear buying it from farm stands, and milk also used to be sold this way, but that's been going away as the sale of unpasturized raw milk is generally not allowed anymore.

I love games that you get stuff on other people's turns, like Space Base, Valeria: Card Kingdoms. Looks like one I would enjoy. Could 2 copies be combined for up to 8 players?? 😮 I tend to play with 6 or more players and "party games" don't have the depth we like. Also I like to play with everyone, and not split into 2 tables.

That would be difficult because either you're using the deck size for four players - which means you won't collect many cards over the course of the game - or you're creating a much larger deck, which means everyone will take "secondary" turns much more often, which might make the game feel same-y since your board wouldn't change that often relative to the number of total turns in the game. -WEM

Oof! Nicki could have gotten 8 points instead of 4 on her last role turn if she had kept her bag to bump her up to field #11! She would have gotten 6 points plus 2 for her sunflowers.
