Wish we had Trails like this in the UK. You need to pull out the cable ties for the brake cable chatter lol.

Hey Steve, I know that this is more of a fun VLog channel, but I think it would be really cool if you talked about the gear you ride with. I just recently got back into cycling (more of a fire road / hardpack rider), but it's a super fun way to blow off steam and get some exercise.

I am still not convinced that you have legs and are not just hovering behind the table. I know, you claim to have detachable legs, but I am not quite sure yet! I demand proof! This here is probably photoshop...

I saw at least 4 ridges I would have launched my ass over inadvertently every time. Good on ya man.

Love the new channel, Steve. Some buddies and I are going to ride some trails this weekend near where we live, which is the pointy bit at the bottom of Texas. Got any tips/advice for someone who wants to get into this? Also, it might be cool if you could have something like Ask GN on this channel, even if it's smaller! Thanks for all the content, whether it's bikes or chips, man.

Thanks for watching! For downhill? I would definitely say the best starter is to just pick somewhere close -- maybe Angelfire, for you? -- and then take a road trip and rent a bike. Alternatively, I know there are some great 'unofficial' trails near Austin that have a lot of jump practice, but no serious downhill. Emma Long is a good trail in Austin.

I'm really liking these bike videos! Is this your bike or just a loaner? Ok, I just watched the vlog on the main channel. ;-) For my part I'm riding a Orange Alpine Five most of the time and also a hardtail with a 12-speed-gearbox for commuting to work.

I haven't done any downhill since I was about 14, really should get back into it! I stopped after I got goaded into a giant quarry jump by my friend & got WAY more air than I was expecting, panicked, & landed front wheel first :-|

This one is mine, but you can rent them at the parks. They're worth renting if you don't have a good bike to beat up.
