A really strong man can do so much than a "independent strong woman" in reality we should be dependent on others for meaning and since we die and meaning is lost we pray to God first to give us our family and then enjoy it all. It makes good use NOT being a ungrateful bastard to any human and First to God! Being bastardize from God is worse than without a father and a mother imagine that? Hell is away from the heavenly Father I cannot imagine.

I too had a father who I knew was on the side of my better angels. Fathering is a solemn responsibility, too long demeaned by those who lacked it and don't understand its profound importance to humanity.
@andrewlilley36606 ай бұрын
That's only true for those who were able to have a relationship with their father, some don't get that chance, and for a variety of different reasons, and sadly, some are probably better off to have not had the chance. Those things may sound very cynical, but they are also very true.
@JoesWebPresence6 ай бұрын
Very true@@andrewlilley3660 ??? Perhaps very true for some, but the vast majority of children have fathers. Good fathers who make them better people for having their guidance in their lives. Very few children would be better off without their father, and most have been far worse off as a result. You say 'for a variety of different reasons' and yes, there are many, but the main cause of most children not having a father is the deranged and entitled decisions of their mothers, in a society that derides and dismisses fathers as unnecessary fools while encouraging young women in their hedonism and promiscuity. The fatherless behaviour is there for all to see in our society, and the broken homes of single mothers, supported and encouraged by the state are where the vast majority of those problems come from. I don't think what you have said is cynical. I think it's a gross distortion that seeks to blame absent fathers while the selfish actions of mothers who excluded them, and the interference of the state who encouraged and supported her to do so are ignored. Are they blameless in your eyes? If the children are victims of broken homes, then let's remember who broke those homes, and why. Let's admit to the harmful consequences of those decisions and policies, with their results evident all around us in society today. Just the prison figures alonne confirm this, with the majority of serious offenses commited by young men from homes without a father. Let's be clear about how this happened. Fathers were the only ones who didn't have any say in this social experiment, and yet they are still blamed for these disasterous results!

Hey, I'm striving for a healthy intimate relationship. I'm looking for my wife now, and if you look anything like your profile picture, I'd like you! I'm an artist, that's why I'm so drawn to it. 😅 Don't worry, I don't look anything like my profile picture, although some have described me as a lone wolf. You see, I don't let people into my life easily but I'm literally on a quest now to find my wife. Sorry if I'm being too blunt, we could start with a nice conversation, and maybe save the marriage stuff for later. 😂 I'm pretty good looking, but I wouldn't give Dwayne Johnson a run for his money. I'm Canadian, but it doesn't matter where you live because I'm actually waiting for marriage to have sex. I know, crazy, right? Well, God's way shouldn't be crazy, it should be normal. Yes, I'm a Christian, and I'm heavily influenced by my faith. Just thought I'd reach out to a pretty girl who seems wise like you, that's a pretty good combination. LOL if your profile pic is just a random digital painting and you're a dude, you can completely ignore this comment. Also, if you're already married, you can completely ignore this comment. Only respond to this comment if you're an 18-29 year old single Christian woman who's looking for a serious relationship. Ok? Thanks for reading, God bless, and have a nice day! 🙏❤

It wasn't until I had children myself, as well as going through a divorce, that I really understood my Dad's side of the story. It was Mr. Peterson's talks and books that ultimately made me realize I needed to reconnect with my Father. I had been doing so in fits and starts, but never really gave it my all. Then were abandoned by my dad when they divorced when I was nine. Then we had it hard, Mom and me. She died in a car wreck when I was 16. I am blessed to have had such an amazing dad. He was a man of strong faith in Christ, and he lived his faith. He brooked no shenanigans, but we knew he was always there for us. He took us camping, exploring, hiking, taking care of his bee hives. As we grew to adulthood, we became great friends. What an unmitigated luxury! To just pick up the phone, and talk to my Dad, about any and every thing. Pruning roses, installing a new clutch, how to make proper bean soup-all such joys. He was so wise, and like Jordan, my friends often came to my dad before coming to their own dads. When he died, so many people came to us and said that they looked at my dad as their own father. What an incredible gift! This is so touching and sweet. You are blessed to have had such a dear father.
