My Father's Cuban Black Beans.

My Father brought this recipe to the United States from Cuba in the Mid 1960's. It's something that I ate as a young boy almost every day. This is in collaboration with Jill Hecker’s new book: Every Dish Has A Story. The KZbin channel is called @yesterkitchen

The sofrito and style sofrito is what really gives all the flavor- my dad didn’t use tomato sauce but used wine- it’s simple- and yea I’m glad I have that recipe book- hope your well
