Eafengrow is "no joke"! They've become a serious contender in the knife world. I have several of their fixed blades and folders who's quality, is pretty much second to none! If you're looking for a high end product at a budget price, then it's Eafengrow for the win! And I'm not alone in that opinion either... Great video too btw...

Their fixed blades are absolutely amazing. I don't have much experience with the folders. Maybe a few, they were good too. Their fixies are amazing 🤩

I have the EF-123 fixed blade and it's awesome. I am currently carrying an EF-238 folder and it's nice as well. They make great budget knives...Can't go wrong with Eafengrow imo.

My fav affordable fixed blade is controversial, bc some still wouldn't consider it a budget knife at 75$ bucks, but I consider everything 100$ and under in the budget range. My fixed blade I usually carry around to use is my old reliable Buck 119 Special with the dangler added to the sheath for comfort. If I'm carrying the 119, you already know I'm rockin a 110 in the pocket too. Lol

At the risk of seeming a little obsequious, I am in 100% agreement with the other commenters. If I hadn’t seen how sharp that knife is, I wouldn’t have believed it. Once again, loved the video. Also thought it was cool that you seemed to be testing the edge on a Cabela’s flyer. ( What I have been doing ) Weather here in Alberta terrible this spring too.

I have 3 eafengrow fixed blades, but this one is my favorite. I've used it for everything from limbing branches, to slicing home made bacon. My only grouse was the coating on the blade. It scratched really easy. I ended up sanding it off to end up with a satin finish. That aus10 has been more than worthy of my time.

It's not super steel like but on this knife for the $ it's a very solid option ❤❤

@@Puffinstuff316 type of steel except in unusual cases is about 90% marketing. Maybe you have to sharpen more after you cut 1000 pieces of cardboard.

Some reviewers have said a lot of Eafengrow's larger knives have thick handles (too thick). You like this handle. It looks similar to my Esee 6 G10 handle. Can you comment if they're comparable (in hand) or if different, how so? I wear Medium gloves, and my fingers are on the short side.

The eafengrow fixed blades are some of if not the best budget outdoor fixies there is. Highly recommend if you see a design you like. This and the esee 6 are pretty close

It triggers me to no end when somebody says 14c28n is a good steel it is not , it is a warmed over rehashed 420Hc its effin garbage barely acceptable for a fixed blade completely wrong for a folding knife. 14c28n - toughness rated a 9 edge retention rated a 3 , 420HC toughness rated a 9 edge retention rated a 2.5 ........ to say 14c28n is a good steel is to say 420HC is still a good steel when we both know its trash.
@GBall_Vision6 ай бұрын
Hey man sometimes what is good for you isn't good for someone else. I love 14c for it's toughness which almost can't be beat, very few steels are tougher, it's fantastic corrosion resistance in the upper quarter of all steels and it's extremely easy to sharpen, it holds a pretty good edge, any day to day or EDC tasks it holds up really well.
@anthonyrollins98256 ай бұрын
@@GBall_Vision save your money go buy you some 420HC its just as tough.\
@DrewDragoon2 ай бұрын
420hc is a good steel especially for its cost, super steels are mostly marketing and fomo. That's not to say there isn't any gains and that they're not better, but proportionately to their cost it's never worth it and most average people would be perfectly fine with 420hc or 14c
@anthonyrollins98252 ай бұрын
@@DrewDragoon 420Hc has a place on a fixed blade with a edge retention of 2.5 it has no place at all ever under any circumstances on a folding knife.
