Hall of the Mountain Grill is my favourite album of all-time: a little fact for you Scott, the last concert at Stonehenge at the Summer Solstice was headlined by Hawkwind in 1984 and I was there, great days x

Great list. I have only been following your channel for a short while, but had been curious about your thoughts on Opeth - so now I know. I do agree that Pale Communion is their best album in their prog rock/non-death metal style. Opeth is the band that actually got me able to tolerate the “cookie monster” vocals, which then opened up lots of other more recent bands that I have come to enjoy such as Ne Obliviscaris and Wilderun.

I've been listening to Frank Zappa for many years. "Billy The Mountain" is in my top 3 all time favourite songs. Although, I guess calling Billy The Mountain a song is kind of stretching things to the extreme but, I can sing every part and talk every part of that whole fabulous song.

So it'll go down easy, we at the Mister want to suggest a fade in approach to your episodes, and we say that only because we, and/or I, forget to turn down our volume sometimes, when alluvasudden whamo! Spinal Tap at 11. The guy that says "Hello fam" can also be a bit of a jolt. But here I am, once again, blaming my own forgetting to turn the volume down on innocent others, so now I feel guilty. And when I feel guilty, I want to eat donuts and ice cream. So thanks again. Maybe I'll listen to Novella while pigging out. You're the best. Thanks man! Where are those donuts...

What a great list! VdGG and Italian Prog I got turned on to by Prog obsessed friends but most of the rest on your list I got from the USED album bin at the local record shop. It was the seventies and these albums weren't that old. Thank God for some people's lack of patience! I would say The Moody Blues is the only HUGE omission. Way before Chicago. In fact in my top 10 PROG bands. Keep up the good work Scot!🎷🎹🎸😎

Just as good as part 1, wonderful stuff! The Last of the Jubblies by England is pretty good, much better than Box of Circles. See you have the first Gypsy album on your shelf, I had to get it from the U.S. at great expense only for it to be reissued shortly after!

A fabulous list to say the least. Although I’m not familiar with several of those foreign artists they are very intriguing. I do however own a copy of the Museo Rosenbach. That one is truly vintage and it’s definitely growing on me. And love UKs first one. I just wish Wetton and his guys had done more than 2 albums.
