I freakin love this watch. I saw it about 4 weeks ago and now own both the 009 and the 007 along with a shyte load of nato straps. And I still check out review videos even after owning it 😕

This is my favourite watch. I switch my band depending on what I”m wearing. I have had mine for over 5 years. Would I recommend it to other….HELL yes. I also own a Breitling (which cost me a hell of lot more) but I keep putting on my Seiko, watching this video, I notice the bands you have. I have the same ones. That’s what I love about it. I go swimming with the Seiko with no issues and still looks so good. A buddy of mine has a Tag, and the one thing i bug him about it is how I can see the time at night. The lum on my Seiko is sooooooo good. Would I recommend this to others yes. For the money this is a great watch. Mine came with the metal bracelet and French language. The band feels cheap, but its very comfortable. And I usually keep mine with a NATO Strap.

the z22 strap is really good looking strap for skx009 and most people will recognized it that you're wearing an iconic classic diver's watch the downside is uncomfortable at first, but once it will break in it will soften, the strapcode super oyster is good but it makes the watch not look like a dive watch
@HaiTran5 жыл бұрын
I've been able to amass quite a few straps for this watch. It's nice rotating through them all. At the moment, I have no plans to but the stock strap back on but who knows, maybe one day.

I own a Sumo/Blumo and a Padi Turtle 🐢 but my next purchase is definitely going to be a 009 like yours. It’s an iconic, classic, legendary watch . You did awesome by choosing this watch 👍🏻

Love your channel!... If you don't mind me asking where did you get the nato strap that you were wearing when you were holding the camera in your video that is the coolest strap ever!!!! Is there a link to buy that strap? Thank you

I buy from a variety of different manufacturers. I’ve made a few strap videos. You can check them out for the ones that you’re looking for.

Hey man, great review. I have the same watch, ‘J’ is the way to go. It’s my favorite watch ever, and I’ve had much more expensive pieces. It’s just excellent. I’m sure you’ll agree.
@HaiTran4 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say that it's my favorite watch ever, but it's a pretty good piece for the price. It just depends on what someone is looking for.

Hi, can you recommend a good watch repair company who can change out crystals and or bezels? Thanks.
@HaiTran3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, I cannot. I've never had these services done so I can't recommend anyone.

My advice is don't.... ever The second you change that crystal you can kiss your ISO rating goodbye....also it's value

I have the 009K on the Jubilee bracelet and I can't for the life of me take off those god damn spring bars
@HaiTran4 жыл бұрын
If the bracelet uses the same spring bars as the rubber strap, then I can definitely understand why it would be difficult to remove them.
@M3LTUP4 жыл бұрын
You may need a different tool. Seiko spring bars are very thick.

I particularly love the SKX because of its small size. You got massive arms though, I'd definitely go with something bigger if I were in your position (personal preference though)
@HaiTran5 жыл бұрын
Lol if you think the SKX is small then YOU have massive arms. There’s a reason why Seiko makes a smaller version. I have a 6 3/4” wrist and think that it is barely big enough for the SKX.
@BrokkoliSchleuder5 жыл бұрын
@@HaiTran wuuut, maybe it's the camera angle lol. I'm 6'1 but skinny (160lbs) and have 7 1/4 wrists (from EU, all those conversions **sigh**). Had the SKX013 which was too small for me, SKX007 was perfect. But the SKX isn't considered big regardless afaik
@HaiTran5 жыл бұрын
I’m pretty sure that if I got the SKX013 it would’ve been too small for me also. Either way, whatever fits.
