I bought the Rival for $200 at Walmart, first one dead on arrival, i returned and bought a second one. Lemme say this, it can handle heavy rain like a champ. I even accidentally ran thru a huge puddle submerged the whole front motor for about 2-3 seconds, i thought it was toast, but sheesh it just trumped on thru lol still my daily for work and back. Also at about 210 pound weight expect about 4-5 mile range

I got a G3 and im 200 pounds i get the 18 mph maybe its your elevation? Depending on your location things change pretty drastic.

From the Gotrax Rival to the Segway f35 which one is the best?

the rival is 198 at the time of this comment on sale at walmart. the f35 is like 499$ at best buy. willing to bet the f35 is going to outperform it, but is it worth the extra money? the rival still hits a reliable 12-14mph for me and i'm about 300lbs significantly over the rated 220lb capacity. Thats plenty for around town esp in places where you have to frequently navigate obstacles and stop for intersections.

In no way am I recommending the Rival (gXL v2) but but there is two speed modes. First gear will top off around 10mph I think and second gear is 15.5 like he said. But if you weigh 100 pounds like me it goes up to 17

@@ElectricRevolution would you recommend air filled tires or the solid ones. I would think the air filled the ride would be smoother vs the solid. I’m just worried about getting a flat and having to replace the tire which I heard swapping them out can be a pain.

What went wrong with customer service im looking in to buying a scooter for short trips after floating the river to get back to my vehicle. Your comment worries me if I need customer service for a warranty or something please let me know?
