Great showcase! My personal favourite is probably my level 67, decent hp and defences while being able to use my personal fave weapon great club (sometimes zwei). And there’s usually at least a few people around at that level

Please do if you think they could be fun! I just try to treat others like they treat me and most of the players are friendly. And when I see someone struggling there's no need to point them down or anything like that imo :)

If there’s ever a souls game I would come back to it would be dks1. I probably invested more time with pvp in ps3 dks1 than any other souls game. Last build I made was a SL50 & mained bkga in dsr. Love that weapon

I had a sl50 bkga build too but at some point I leveled it up to Meta. But yeah I love this weapon as well!

Great video! Question for the SL33 build - do you all the way to Chaos+5/+15 upgrades on your weapons? I always get worried about weapon matchmaking when i'm doing low level pvp

For SL33 I just upgrade my weapons to the basic Chaos level, Chaos+0 if you want to call it that. This way it counts as a +10 weapon and this is perfect for everything from undead parish to anor londo. depths, sens, blighttown work fine with this build (for invasions and gravelording)

Manchmal ist ja zum Glück noch was los in anor londo oder bei niedrigeren levels in Oolacile :) als ich auf Meta unterwegs war hab ich dieses Mal auch ein paar Japaner getroffen, leider auch Ryo, der wieder den Aufzug gecampt hat xD hab ihn aber trotzdem einige Male erwischt

@@MrMashroom Ja, ryo kann man mit einem paar kleinen Kniffen in die Knie zwingen...du brauchst eigentlich nur ein shotel und Geduld 👍 Ja, das schlimme auf ps4 ist das gefühlt jeder laggt... Auf PC ist jeder suuuper Clean und nicht laggy, liegt daran dass auf PC mehr europäisch sind. Das ist das coole, du kannst dein Movement richtig ausspielen ohne irgendwelche lächerlichen pulls zu kriegen Sobald die Server wieder oben sind werde ich wieder zum PC dar zurückkehren (bleibe aber auch auf ps4 aktiv).

Nice, I like the faith build. Wog is just too much fun. I like it at meta level with high int, mlgs, and velkas talisman (scales with int)

Yeah I like all the mind games with wog like with the mlgs havel mom, a pretty decent player, but he had no clue if I go for the chain or wog after getting up from the bs :) oh yeah never made a build with velkas, but that's definitely an interesting choice!

@@MrMashroom yep, it's how to make the build more viable at meta; the mlgs does big damage even at meta setups and SLs plus you get the additional mind game with the mlgs r2 wakeup

It's a good all-around strength build, only disadvantage might be the low poise, but Wolf ring fixes this as well!

Thanks man I'm glad to hear you enjoyed some of my stuff! SL33 has just enough str/dex to wield some basic weapons with Chaos infusion (doesn't scale anyway with str/dex), I think I have 16 str, 10 dex here, rest goes into vit (I have around 1000 hp here) and endurace for basic armor.

Hey man, I've been looking into a build for getting started with dsr pvp, from what you told me before sl55 AL invasions are a good start, so I might try your dual ring sl55 shown here! Could you maybe point out what is the fastest way to set up a pvp char? Duping souls and upgrade mats so you skip the farm? And what are the other rings I should have apart from dwg and hornet for this build?

When I make a character I actually dupe souls and materials yeah, from what I'm seeing you're familiar with it :) I still look up videos how to do it because I keep forgetting all the steps haha. At first I always get the duplicated souls, then I collect the armor, rings and weapons I wanna use, after that I get at least one of each upgrade material which I duplicate later at Andre's. I have the rings I use in this order (and in combat I never use something else): on top the Wolf ring, beneath that the Hornet ring, after that the darkwood grain ring, followed by the red tearstone ring + ring of steel protection (just for protection when I get parried) and then the havel ring. So it's just muscle memory when I switch between these. When I use faith/magic builds I have the spell boosting rings in there as well, between wolf ring and hornet ring. Tbh 90 percent of the time darkwood grain ring, hornet ring and Wolf ring will be perfectly fine!

@@MrMashroom I see, one more question, I know claymore is the focus of the build, but would you have anything else as backup for bad weapon match ups?

@@rafaelbrito9519 yeah I always have a fast weapon above my main weapon, in this case it's the handaxe or fury sword, sometimes a katana, straight sword or shotel. Beneath the main i have one with higher crit damage (here the gargoyle halberd, a beast at crit damage!) and beneath that I have a long spear, normally the demon's spear, because it needs nearly no requirements, is crazy long and can help with high poise falchion spammers or similar things!

Hey bro, as a 1st pvp build I’ve been rocking this sl55 but the problem is, I instakill everyone with a bs even without hornet, which doesn’t allow me to learn anything lol. So I was thinking about trying a higher sl build, but not meta just yet since I’d probably get chain bs all day. Which other build would you recommend that still has nice activity? Mind you I’d rather go pure melee

Hm maybe sl80 with focus on oolacile is good for that, you could still use the chaos weapons and put levels into vitality and endurance, this way you won't one shot most opponents while being hard to beat yourself!

Or you could go up to 100 which should be fine activity wise as well

Why sl104 for the forest? Seems like such a specific lvl to stop at, and I’m curious if that’s for a reason

It's a good middle ground to get higher level players in but also the lower levels. Meta Level is basically dead outside of Japan

Mostly because I don't like curved swords as main weapon, they don't allow too interesting plays. I use them as finisher sometimes tho! I prefer bigger weapons and the backstab Meta over the r1 spam Meta :) more ways to "style" this way

@@MrMashroom Understandable, but what if they heal with poise against a corner or something? Do you have an advice for that? I find it really annoying when ppl do that. Btw great videos, i can't believe you have just 300 subscribers.

@@anthonyfarias5076 In this case I try to get a wall pull (backstabs are possible still when opponents are against a wall, kinda like 5:52) but since you mention corners: here I try to break their poise to get some damage in or try to manipulate how they are standing with circuling them to get them in position for a backstab. But yeah it's annoying because some people won't do this just 1 or 2 times, but all the time with duped estus, no fun in that. And thanks :) tbh I'm happy with 300, DS1 isn't exactly a game to get you many subscribers anymore and my elden ring content wasn't interesting enough
