What is your ride of "die" tool in your craft room? Is it your die cutting machine? paper trimmer? stamp press? what is the one item in your craft room you love so much that you can't craft without it?

I love my Tim Holtz stamping tool, and I love my Gemini Jr. I wanted to do less "cranking" because I have neck pain. It is so much easier to just push it in, and let it cut by itself! I am going to try the sticky grids. What a great idea! I recently got the EK Success reverse tweezers, and they are wonderful, too. I also wanted to mention a homemade tool. I need to not slouch over my desk. (Same neck pain issue.) My husband built me a simple platform I set on my desk that raises my work area about 2-3 inches. It makes a great difference in keeping me from slouching over and I have less pain. It is wonderful.

I ordered the sticky grid for all of my Misti's and Stamparatus. I absolutely love this idea! Thank you so much for sharing your list of favorites. I hate it when I go to stamp a saying or item and it pulls up the cardstock! You are a genius. I do use all of the other things on your list. Great list.

The Misti is my favorite tool - that is one tool that I could not do without. Love your videos

I'd say the Wagner heat gun & my MISTI are 2 tools I don't know how I'd live without! A cheaper option for a salt cellar is a child's snack container. I found mine at Dollar Tree in the baby dishes section. It has a round (bowl-shaped) plastic base with two handles & a tight-fitting silicone lid. The lid has kind of an asterisk-shaped cut out in it, and I can just shove my Absorber through that. It keeps it damp, though it will dry out eventually, but I don't have the problem with odors that you do if you keep it in a sealed container. And at only $1, it's a win-win! I just have to wet the chamois at the sink when it dries out. Thank you for all the helpful ideas, Christina. Hope you have a wonderful day! :)

Andrea La Vigne great info. I’m going to look for that container next time at the dollar store.

Great idea! And it’s been staring me right in the face each time I spend the day watching my two year old grandson. Can’t beat the price.

We have a lot of the same favorite tools. That sticky grid idea is ingenious and I know i have some that I haven’t used. I’m so doing this.

We have almost all the same favorites. Although the sticky grid is a great idea, I'll have to give that one a go. Also, the salt cellar, great tip. TFS.

Thankyou so much! I am thinking I need something like that but haven’t found anything worthy yet! I thought this would work for when I pull stuff to work with a theme!!

Most of what you showed are my must haves as well. I forgot about the sticky grid for the Misty, so will be ordering that before I forget again. lol I also love the laying dies that give me the stitching on both the positive and negative cut. I don't have the Wagner heat gun, but it is on my wish list. Hugs, Brenda

7:21 I was super impressed that foam roll has lasted you since 2014, then realised this video is from 2019 and since it’s 2022 right now.... maybe not 😂😂😂 But 5 years is still good... not 8! 😜 And then I noticed OMG....I’ve watched this video before because I can see I have also commented below, 11 months ago back in 2021... go figure!😂😂😂

I absolutely love your video and its helped me a lot! Im new to card making and cant believe im only starting now. But over the past few months I've been building up my supplies and learning SO much about this craft that is all SO new to me. It's been a blast so far and I even already have friends and family commissioning cards from me lol. Amazon has been my bestfriend in building my supply along with jo anne fabrics 40% off all stamping supplies for a month. PARK LANE embossing folders were $2 a peice! And I got a Revolution die cut machine 50%off with a coupon. I really lucked out. I need recommendations on good adhesives and cardstock, your the second person I've seen mention the nuvo glue so Ima go for it unless you have a better recommendation now a year later. My ride or die supply though is defintly my paper trimmer, xacto knife and the duck spotted adhesive tape runner. Its very similar to the scotch one you described, it sticks awesome, never messes up or tangles and I can turn with it. It's so easy to use and not fussy like other tape runners. The ONLY drawback with it is it's expensive and runs out SO SO quickly. I started buying bulk 4 packs on amazon for $12. I just know it works though and am afraid to waste money on fussy products I'll hate. I've had enough frustration with cheap $ Store tape runners and never again lol. A more economical solution may be required though! Anyway I LOVE your videos and think you are awesome and fun to watch and listen to. You explain things well, are very likeable as well. Keep it up! Happy crafting and card making!

Where do you buy your clear stamps that you used

Great video! I addressed that in a different comment but Im looking for a tip if anyone has experience with this! Ranger heat embossing powders! Silver and gold work GREAT in my experience but snowflake tinsel especially and black sparkle I cant get to work at all! I use the ranger embossing pad and ranger embossing markers! They dont stick will, and then when I go to use my heat gone all the powder flies right off?!?! Does anyone have any advice on this situation?
@CreationswithChristina3 жыл бұрын
Great question. I’ve experience the same results. Would love to hear how people have gotten it to work.
@elizabethnovak49512 жыл бұрын
When you use the black sparkle embossing powder, try using black pigment ink to stamp with and then add the embossing powder. If only some of the black sparkle powder is blowing off, you still have the black ink to show your image or sentiment. I hope this helps.

What is the purple tape? Is it just purple masking /painter's tape??? Great video by the way!
@sherib57525 жыл бұрын
I’m pretty sure that’s Thermoweb Purple Tape. I get mine at Simon Says Stamp, plus they just came out in 1/2” size.

Another option is washi tape. A lot of us have REALLY over-purchased washi tape either because the patterns are so adorable or the variety packs are well priced. It just seems impossible to use it all up. And when I buy a variety pack, there’s usually one roll that doesn’t thrill me. THAT’S the one I use for anything I would use the washi tape for that is not my favorite. DISCLAIMER: If you get a REALLY cheap tape, you might find that it leaves a sticky residue which makes it NOT worth the savings. I hope this helps.
