Was laughing as I watched this 😂 so far everything you have except aleenes which I have decided to add today. Have a different cutter I like pretty well including tim holtz gullitine cutter. May look for mini for my travel bag I just bought at habitat today. I often take things to moms house when sitting with her to make. She enjoys adding her thoughts while I create. It helps her memories of when she created a love of crafts when we were kids and very poor It was use whatever we had outside the box. I was fortunate I bought a 31bag like yours on here when in nursing school cheap and added to traveler its perfect. Ty for sharing your knowledge

I'd love to get the Aleene Tacky glue, but it's $89 a can on Amazon (Australia). No can of glue is worth that much. My favourite Trimmer is the We R Memory Keepers Trim and Score (but I also have the old and new SU Trimmers, a few Fiskars Slide and Rotary Trimmers, several different guillotines from Tonic and Crafters Companion, and a bunch of others too). I don't have the new Mini Guillotine from Tim Holtz though, but it's about $60 here, so I'm thinking I might give it a miss, and I still have my Mini SU guillotine. Thanks for the list, I'm with you on the majority of your must have's. Merry Xmas
@_MyInkieFingers2 жыл бұрын
Good Grief!! You don't want shares in the company! Just a can of spray glue! Sheesh. Do you find that happens a lot for you in AU? I would just die if I didn't have instant access to the stuff I wanted. I'm so over indulgent! lol Merry Christmas Annie 🎅🏻🎄💗
@denisejames8552 жыл бұрын
Great list and plenty of info. We in Australia are at a disadvantage price wise due to the exchange rate. So we try to get everything on sale, well that's my style all the time! The freight is also a killer, add $A30 on top of a spend and you can see where we suffer. Still, love the videos and I do collect Copics and am trying to decide on a ScanNCut either new, terrible price, or a quality 2nd hand one. Have a great and happy Christmas and may 2022 be less Covid and more craft.
@_MyInkieFingers2 жыл бұрын
Oh Denise my heart aches for my Australian Inkie Friends. You've all been telling me about the terrible exchange and how much things would be to have sent there. I feel so bad. Would it make you feel any better if I told you that there are things I would like from AU that I never get due to the shipping too? What we need is a billionaire man with a crafty wife to convince him to set up a low flat price universal shipping rate for everyone. Everywhere. 🤣🤣🤣 (One can dream) Merry Christmas 💗🎄🎅☃️

My tip: On every trimmer that leaves a ridge on the back side of the cut, I take my Teflon bone folder and run it across the back side of the cut. Tada! All smooth. I don’t do that for every cut, just card bases or anything that will be seen (like when I have to cut on the backside of the paper and it will be seen on the front of the card).
@_MyInkieFingers2 жыл бұрын
I'm aware that every one does that, and I hate it! lol I'm also far too lazy to be running my bone folder on the back of every cut 🤣🤣 Merry Christmas ☃️🎄🎅💗

Thanks for all of the good tips. I'm unable to see any of your product or other links below. A problem on my end, because this is happening on other channels. I've found most of your recommendations on Amazon. Are those little ink blending tools by Yoseng? If so, a four pack of the brushes alone in the US are $13.48. A four pack of the brushes with that snap in cover are $14.98. At just $1.50 more I'll get the covered ones.

Start with your fav color. Get the group of 3 (or 2) for Blending. Then move on to the rainbow. Get 3 of each color (or 2). Baby steps 2 or 3 at a time. The Ciao sets are also a good choice as they last for years! I bought them in 2010 (ish) and still have some that I use. Then u add Sketch markers as you go 😊💗

Art glitter glue, same thing plus can’t order in the winter,. Ask me how I know. I just ordered Tombow refill from Amazon. I ordered it December 5th and should get it before 12/29! I hope I like it. I have advice: get the most effective basic tools recommended by vaious artists... several put out top 10 product lists at the end of the year. Look at past year's lists also. Case (copy) some various artists until you learn a bit. Avoid "full set syndrome", you dont need everthing in a particular line. Every manufacturer has their own version of each tool/products. A particular product may be better in one brand but no one brand has tops in everything. Stencils and sprays are a low investment at first. As far as ink and embossing powders, rather than buy a lot, just start with a hybrid ink in black, and Versamark embossing ink, and a few fine powders (gold, silver, black, white). Use a good cardstock, like Nina Solar White (80# for card fronts and 110 for folded card bases). A Misty stamp positioner is essential, but seldom mentioned because everyone already has one. :-) After you begin to get the hang of it, only then start carefully adding inks, embossing powders, and embellishments that appeal to your preferred color schemes. Some have coordinated ink, cardstock, and envelopes which looks nice. Best to you, it is more and more fun the better you get at it!
@sheilagraber55772 жыл бұрын
@@Rockymtnbloom Thank you, that’s exactly what I did. I bought all of those things first. I need to start getting more stamps so I’m not practicing with the same few on coloring . Thank you for taking the time to give me some great tips❤️
