Thank you for showcasing the new Salvaged Patina ink. I ordered it and it should be arriving in a day or two (the crowd goes wild!). I looked all over youtube for a comparison of this new color with existing colors and couldn't find it. I love aqua, turquoise and teal colors, so I knew I had to have it (I have the oxides). I enjoy all of your videos and I do not think they are too long at all! You give us so many examples which for me, is really helpful. You blend together some colors I would never think of putting together and the results are beautiful. Keep being you!

OMG, Jennifer, this was one of my favorite technique videos ever! The original pieces looked like they were flocked! I can hardly wait to try this technique. Long videos? Not in my opinion! You could never make a video too long for your fans & followers! Thanks again for sharing your talent with us. I do have one question - when you ironed the pieces to lessen the glossy look, instead of using copy paper could you use a layering weight piece of cardstock to get yet another background piece?
@jennifermcguireink3 жыл бұрын
It does kind of look like flocking. You can trying layering weight. The copy paper is thin enough to make sure that the heat gets through to remove the embossing. But give it a try!

Every time I think of that technique I'm reminded of the time I ran a heavily inked ( in red) paper with a stencil through my Gemini. It was apparently too tight and the ink squished out so much it leaked out the seams and looked like my Gemini was bleeding! Still works though!
