Good reads, I’d be curious to know if it were possible to synthesize Lewis’s and Huxley’s ideas of a pleasure culture. What is pleasure culture opposed to? Honor culture maybe? Would Epicureanism (a restrained pleasure) be best for that society, and can pleasure have value without ultimate meaning? Just some thoughts!
