Love love love Bianco Latte and Bora Bora is quite nice, but I found Celeste very violet heavy. I like violet, but to me it just smelt like only violet and makeup. All of their fragrances are super strong, but those two were the only ones I liked.

This is off- topic. My question is why there are too notes in perfume if They are only going to last 15 minutes or so? Is it the perfumer’s whim, is is that we don’t get upset or faint and the undeveloped mid-notes, or is there a chemical reason where the top notes affect the notes to follow? Sort of how tannins don’t taste great but they prevent side reactions while the wine ages. My vote is that it’s to make the initial perfume experience more enjoyable. Then I’d imagine there is a chemical reason. Just curious that perfumers bother to add scents that won’t last.

Good question! Top notes help disguise the initial scent of alcohol when you first spray a fragrance, bergamot in particular is often used for this purpose. They're also there to hopefully grab the attention of a potential customer. If someone is in store, and they love the scent of a perfume immediately, they are more likely to purchase. Some top notes are certainly fleeting, particularly lighter, fresher ones, but others will last throughout the life of the fragrance. With PDM Delina for example, I can smell lychee the whole wear although it's listed in the top. The dose used also plays a factor. Some perfumers seek to create a dimensional fragrance that goes through different stages as it dries down, while others create a fragrance that will give you generally the same experience from top to bottom. ❤️

Oh my gosh thank you!! 🥹 Honestly I flip my hair a lot hahah, I don't have natural volume in my hair. When I style it, I like to alternate the direction I curl it in, some going towards my face, other pieces away, and I think that helps a lot in creating more body and dimension!

I’d like to add that Deep N Desire Yacht EBK is not a Blind buy safe at all.. all i smell the very first seconds are chemicals and plastic, then a horrible “blueberry” synthetic accord. Worst perfume ever in my opinion.
