Gotta love the sheer amount of influence Marble Hornets had on Slenderman that the O with an X through it is forever connected to Slenderman. It's also funny considering that when Marble Hornets was made Slenderman was different and MH made their own version called The Operator. Eventually the functions of The Operator would replace/combine with the old Slenderman to create the Slenderman we know today.

Kate and Chaser's models look like they are the same as the og, tho I have a feeling they'll be updating her soon by Q2 with whatever they promised with modding tools or multiplayer which will be an awesome thing to see. Charlie and Slender's model look super amazing in this so that's what I'm hoping later.

I actually prefer the atmosphere of v1.0 compared to v2.0 and v3.0. I really felt sad that they did not used v1.0 as base for graphics and rather use downgraded v2.0 graphics as base. Also wish camera movement and aggrasive camera glitchs was in the remake..

Call me crazy, but I actually dislike the nerf they gave Slender Man and the lighting. I thought the difficulty curve between Normal and Hardcore in the original was pretty alright, with Hardcore being very... well, hard. But just last night I uploaded a video to my channel beating the current Hardcore mode in a little over 6 minutes, on my first attempt. I dunno I just feel the nerf was too big.

This update was designed to be a more horror-focused experience, they hit that perfectly. Slender was very unwelcoming for anyone who didn’t know how he worked, as the chase mechanic is extremely frustrating. Without the chase slender is just a stalker, and I love it
