i mean, those were probably just vr game detection libraries, so as long as the game code uses the same classes and stuff and there isnt any major difference between them, then it will work fine (still, the fact that the game didnt crash at all is very surprising)

No bc I had to do most of this, but the black screen is steams issue and they haven't fixed it yet i don't think. So when I got in the game through steam vr I had 0 AUDIO. So I tried EVERYTHING to get it to work and nothing worked. So I decided to switch over to questlink instead of steam vr! And EVERYTHING WORKED Flawlessly! There was 0 problems, it automatically chose my quest 2 controllers. It had 0 lag (when I did it in steam vr it had tons of lag) it let me stream perfectly! There is 0 problems with using questlink, so if anyone is having problems just switch to questlink, and open the game on your computer and it will work.

Im surprised to see someone have so much trouble with this game, everything went super smooth with me (i have a rift s), the only issues I have had is when scrap baby forgets your looking at her or the fact that the button I use to open my steam menu was taken over by the pause menu meaning I couldnt have my twitch chat on my wrist.

for whatever reason if your using something airlink or virtual desktop it doesn’t work very great, but with a link cable it works out of the box day one

I played the game with a Quest 2 and it was just pixelated some minigames completely unplayable but I was still able to finish the game cause sometimes it looked good
