The tv in the living space needs to be a televator maybe in the kitchen. That is really the only problem. The storage inside and out is very generous compared to other class c’s. ❤️ this motorhome! And we’ll see you next time!

Almost perfect. This is the coach that I will be buying, color and everything. EXCEPT, I want the smaller fridge with the pantry, and of course, the missing valance and little clip to hold the door for the outside TV. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the fact that this coach is SOOOO usable with the slides in!

It's a bit odd that the rearmost storage units are separate. I have seen several RVs in this class that allow pass-through access from both sides. Also, the power awning over the cab seems like a waste of weight. Why would it need one for a window smaller than most house skylights?

@@largol33t1 The storage units can only be connected if there is a way to connect them. In this case, the floorplan doesn't allow it. As far as the power window shade goes, you wouldn't want to climb up there every time you had to close it and if someone is sleeping up there, or the sun is just glaring through the window, it would be nice to close.

@@MattsRVReviews One more thing about your #3 dislike (the water hook-ups). They are directly under the outdoor shower. Which means while using the shower, at best, you are probably standing on a hose if you have a 90* connector or standing on and working around a hose if you don't have a 90* connector.

I would want smaller fridge and a pantry. Put the tv over the door and move the cabinets over the door to where the tv is. Love theatre seating. Would really like this floor plan without the cab going so far over the windshield. Sleeker look.

I really like this floor plan. My husband & I wanted to buy a Class A diesel but we will start with a Class C. The Entegra Esteem 29V model is so far our top choice. Things I don't like about model 29V: 1. the water system is exposed with no locks. For an over $100,000 model, the water system should be locked. 2. TV position in the living area is not ideal (combo with there should be a safety net on the bunk bed over the cab area. 3. Would choose a light cabinet colour as offered by the competitors. The sofa and interior colours are great. 4. Offer double pane window and a combo washer/dryer as options. Things I like: 1. Kitchen design fabulous, large counter space and large RV fridge. 2. Can be in camp mode without putting out the slides and there still plenty of space to walk. 3. Large windows through the coach for panoramic viewing. There is way more likes but I will stop at three. We will purchased this in the near future. Really enjoy all the reviews by Matt and Andrea. Good design and quality by Entegra.

Your biggest concern should be the paltry 1353 of OCCC. That is way too low for a motor home this large and I don't know why it is so low except that they must have built this on way too low-rated of a chassis. Too bad because I also like it otherwise.

I love watching both of you and some of those "fill ins" just don't get that they need to say " be careful Matt" or "did you do your stretches?" Andrea, you just have a special touch. For some crazy reason, I didn't notice this video yesterday. I'm so glad I watched it. I like the split bathroom. It's not like everything is crammed together, nice big shower. +++ The fact that you can use more than 95 percent or the RV with the slides in is awesome!! One idea for the TV. Maybe they could put it above the door and be able to fold or extend down, so it would be across from the theatre seating.

My knowledge of Boondocking is when you camp off the grid and usually in nature. You would have no water, electric or sewer hookups. You would get your electricity from your batteries, solar or a generator. I don't think it matters if you have your slide(s) in or out as you mentioned. I have heard camping in a Walmart parking lot is called Wallydocking and camping in a friends driveway or property is called Moochdocking.

Agreed. I really enjoy Matt and Andrea’s reviews, but I’ve been wondering why they’ve been fixated on that recently. This has to be the third time in recent videos that I’ve heard them link boondocking with slides being in. In fact, not just link it, but kinda imply that it’s an absolute. A little odd to me, but I enjoy the reviews very much. In fact, I bought the 2020 Esteem 29V because of their review of it last year. I like it a lot. I wish the front seats swiveled on the 2020 like they do on the 2021. That is a really good upgrade on the 2021. Keep up the good work guys!

Another informative and entertaining video I LOOOOOVE the exterior paint/colors....and the interior is nice but more subtle. I think it funny that others are questioning your supposed “fixation” with being able to “boondock” because camper functions with slides in. Most of us understand what you mean and also think it would be an absolute must for me were I to buy a camper with slides. Many private locations will allow you to park but you cannot run a generator, set up chairs and tables and have your slides out. 1000% agree with you that the slides breaking down are a huge risk and being able to still use the RV regardless of slide disposition is key. I have said this before, you two are great at what you do. Is funny but Matt comes off as affable and a bit goofy, but if you watch enough of his videos you can see that he really, really knows his stuff. Andrea, you are amazing at keeping Matt “on the rails,” and for sure your sense of style and observation are such a great compliment to Matt’s more technical delivery in your videos. You pick up on some subtle and not so subtle features and “struggles” in every unit. Stay safe and keep up the great work.

_Love_ this coach! Just wish Entegra would do a televator or put the TV on the dinette/kitchen wall. *Question* -will Entegra remove/move the TV from the cab bunk as part of purchase? TV's should not cannibalize precious cab bunk space that's meant for people. 2) For maximum storage, the double fridge (which is great to have) should _not_ split the freezer in half. This is my dream RV. HOWEVER: 1. Entegra really needs to put hinges on the dinette storage. Loose plywood isn't close to the standards of the rest of the RV. 2. Slam latch doors are awesome, but I would prefer them to hang down when open. The doors sticking out makes access more difficult. 3. Maybe I'm wrong, but there should be a way to get a King-sized bed in there. I would accept a folding mattress like the 27u if it meant a larger bed!

Jayco/Encore does a nice job. Love that the electrical connection is in its own enclosed bay. In the rain it's great to have a dry area to disconnect at least one end of the power cord. Nice space in the kitchen, but I'd eliminate the dinette, split the kitchen, add a pantry and make space for a TV and "fireplace."

Love the unit just wish the dinette was on the passenger side so that you can watch the nieces, nephews or grandkids at play while eating. Also wish the TV was in a different position or much larger to make viewing easier. On a personal note, Matt watch the jumping off of the ladders, etc. that is hard on the knees and it will catch up to you later. Take it from me as I just had a knee replacement surgery because I used todo all that jumping when I was younger.

The tv placement near the bunk bed prevents this from being the perfect class C. Love the space with the slides in. Big fan of the split bath. The ultimate prime pooping position when no one needs to smell your waste while they're showering. Probably would opt for a sofa bed instead of the theater seats.

Hey guys... love the channel!! Andrea told me that you wear the Leatherman in honor of your father. I respect that and sympathize because I greatly loved my father as well. ❤️ The three things that I dislike about this motorhome is that you have to hold the button down to extend the awning (2) no side windows in the overhead bunk (3) the exterior hatches should open completely so that you can get closer to load your items. Love love love the fact that it has Auto leveling, a giant refrigerator, and PPP! Now if only there were privacy shades in the cockpitl area & flip the awning over so that the colorful side is on the underside (wah wah)😪 fix those items and remove the full body paint and I'd buy one! It's awesome!!

Bought our 2021 Esteem 29V last Nov. ($93,900) and appreciate the review. We do not have full body paint, but do have dual A.C & the theater seating . We've been out on 4 short trips. Dislikes: TV location & accordian (spell?) door in bedroom, and no drawer for the storage under the dinette seating. Likes: Layout (with slides in or out), kitchen and it's counter space, bathroom/shower configuration.

OK... I have to give Entegra credit... The space in there, with no silly "granny break a hip" step up in the back of the coach is impressive. That paint job does look awesome, and the slam latches on the outside is a wonderful plus! The room for the bathroom with such a short class C is nice, but would almost be perfect if the bedroom had a pocket door... Now, the TV placement could be better, it kinda messes up the bunk and just general TV watching. I know Andrea wants a dedicated pantry, but there are some impressive storage cabinets in the kitchen, I would say enough for a small family or couple... All in all, I would have to say this is a top of the line coach, and it does show!!!!

This is my favorite motor home as well. I really like that paint. I’m not sure I like the front windshield by the front bunk. You’re probably going to be looking through smashed bugs most of the time. It’s also a place where a leak can occur. How long will that shade remain functional. I wish they would make that window an option. I would like to see an option for a 12 volt compressor refrigerator. It takes up less room with more interior space leaving room for a small pantry. I think this is hands down the best floor plan in a class C!

I have a new E450 based 7.3 powered class C. Love the new engine. From Austin TX to Las Vegas (home) I averaged 10.3 mpg. I expect the numbers to increase some once it's broken in and there was a pretty nasty head wind for a few hundred miles. Plus I went over a couple mountain ranges. If you live in a less mountainous area, 12 or 13 seems very reasonable.

@@jayfrost5127 you're welcome. Keep in mind normal driving RPM is about 1,000 lower at about any given time. I traded in a V10 powered RV. I did like that V10. Never had any trouble. But I noticed right away that the 7.3 was considerably more powerful at a lower RPM. And I'm not a speed demon either. I don't drive an RV fast. I think the 7.3 is a worthy replacement to a very good V10 engine. And no I don't work for Ford hahaha!

I really love this motorhome. It's hard for me to come up with any major dislikes. But, if I have to it would be the relatively low CCC, I wish it had an outdoor kitchen, and all of the TVs are really small which I'd combo with the outdoor TV door has no latch to keep it open. For the likes, the #1 like has to be the space with the slides in, the amount of storage and decor is really nice. My wish list would be to have wireless Car Play, a dedicated pantry with a large fridge, and a desk for the co-captain.

I would like to see an video security system using the existing camera that you can use and see from the bed room. The power awning why the strip color is not on the bottom side instead of the top ? I would like to see and locking cap on the portable water fill and optional attachment to pore water in using bucket. I like the space when the slides are in. Dislike door on outdoor Tv I guess you take turns watch while one holds open, inside TV location. Likes kitchen area, storage inside , and room to walk and use when slide is in. Great job keep it up🐶😺

Oh Andrea, Oscar could have taken down the ladder for you, earlier! 😊1Awesome paint job and two AC units/comfy driver/ passenger's seats!. 2.Great kitchen appliances and cabinetry/ Great entertainment center-TV facing the theater seats! 3.Spacious throughout and window light even in the front /secret pass thru and storage under bed/ perfect angle!!- in bathroom!! 😏1.A step at the dinette set. 2.Kinda dark. 3.TV and seating do not face each other.

dislikes - high center drawers in bedroom, storage under bed leads outside, it left the factory missing parts. Likes - kitchen counter has good room, solar prep, full body paibt.

Andrea, I love the fingerprint proof wooden refrigerator front! I also love the theater seater seating and the large cooktop and oven! However, the crappy TV position and the “Who wants to watch me shower in the hallway” is a dealbreaker?

Love everything. Since big frig is an option, you do get a pantry otherwise. Doesn't need a slide on the booth/seating side. I wish it was an option. Good price. Here's a shoutout to Dave Manns at Huntley General RV. Great salesman, if your shopping at Huntley, IL General RV. #generalrv

I love the full body paint, the 2 ac’s and the ability to tow 7500 lbs. Great storage. Dislike the tv location. The storage under the dinette is not good, wish it had a king size bed. Matt and Andrea are super and do a fantastic job!!

Nice rig but I agree with Matt on the position of the tv, not a deal breaker if you change the the arm for one that can swing out or more to the center. Also, I do not like two piece showers because of potential leaks.

👍 L: space slide in/out, ext body paint; cockpit, chassis; int/ext storage; kitchen area and appliances (oven!). D: exposed water inlets (why), a boo boo with no clip for the outdoor tv (must’ve been pretty late on a Friday shift); need to be Wil’ height to use that top drawer in the bedroom; living area tv location; no pantry although the left side under the sink may help a bit. Please stay safe. 😷😷😷😷

Another great video ya’ll! Love the cameras in the mirrors, the slam latch storage doors, the paint job carried over the covers. Not fond of split bathrooms, small twin sinks, and cheap master bedroom folding doors. Overall nice RV.....

I think by now they would of put a piano hinge on the storage in the dinette. I love the interior but I agree they could figure out some sort of pantry somewhere.
