Күн бұрын

First video riding my new Scott Addict Pro. Hume Rd is my favorite 1 mile stretch of road so what better way to introduce the new ride than on this gorgeous strip of tarmac.
I had Taylor Dawson with me this day and enjoyed following the fast man down Schueren and Rambla, and then again as we joined up to Las Flores.
The speed is taken from Taylor's computer, audio is on me, excuse the scratchy sound on this one.

At these speeds and at that decent, any mistakes are probably instant death, which seems like the thrill of it all. This looks like a realistic video game. I love how they are metering those turns. This takes an amazing amount of skill, keep up the great work guys.

@sidvicious3129
@sidvicious3129 2 жыл бұрын
@@manowarii3314 This applies probably more to walking, but have you ever walked slowly into a room (walking wide around the opening of that room) but not going directly into that room as if you are expecting something to pop out at you. As you slowly do this you are seeing your way into the room without that person or thing seeing you. This is metering and it is a trained technic for the Military and Police Departments all over the world and it is a natural reaction for some people. For biking, it is more about learning how to take a turn (prepare for it) on either a motorcycle, car, or bicycle racing.

The speed limits in canyons take into account the worst type of vehicle that may be driving on them like a high center of gravity SUV at risk of roll over with bad tires. Sports cars you can take 20 mph limit corners at 45 in many cases.

This is the one of the few videos I've seen that really shows the grade of the road (the others have been of the downhill MTB races in the Alps.) Most videos, it seems, make 10% grades look easy and shallow - here I'm really seeing how steep these grades are. It's amazing. I watch these videos while riding rollers and I rode off them a couple times while trying to lean too enthusiastically into the turns. Would also really like to see footage of you guys climbing as well...

This is really helping my recovery from injury from my foot off the bike, on a good day I max out at 27mph on the flat so 40 is wow but it is a decent though! Can't wait to ride again after nearly two weeks off. Any tips to getting back to training again?

Aí é mole fazer isso, aqui no Brasil com esses motoristas psicopatas e pela qualidade do asfalto... jamais iria rolar uma descida dessa. Por isso sou escalador. Vídeo nota dez.👍😉
