My Favorite Mod Applied To Sporty

Yup it's getting pretty hot over here Arty, triple digits! Great mod for the Sporty! I'm running Desert Lizards at full droop without springs front and rear, just HD shock oil. I'm also using elastic bands to keep the front planted on steep climbs, been working out pretty well!

For me that’s the way to go. Unless running on boulders it doesn’t hinder much. This rig w everything on axle and the shocks so low of an angle I haven’t had to band it….but my Sherpa and mini and scx 24 and and all banded on front scx24 all around. If your trying to hit lines like you and I are you can’t let that chassis get away from that front axle very often lol

Nice and simple mod. Now to try the small hair elastics for the dollar store. They have three different sizes at the dollar general. Great for more tuning options. Looks like that thing is crawling pretty nicely now.

Yeah I have bands on 3 other rigs ish…. But with the shocks layed down so far it doesn’t seem to need it as much, also with everything on axle the chassis falling away is not as much of a thing? Yeah I mean it’s not Dlux axles with Dlux trans But I think it would do ok against a lot of those rigs. Prob needs Ibex??? Idk dude it’s been a fun try at the class. And I obviously like it lol. I’d like to just design and have my own chassis printed this won’t take 2in 1 but I did do the 1080 HH motor brushed and it’s def better I want a HH brushed mini esc but idk…..when I check out crawler farm I see Cripto currency stuff. But like to get there also like to try to get to some wrcca based thing we’ll see it’s tough with work kids camp but 🤞✌️

Yeah 80 even here on the coast of Maine was on a roof looking at Cadillac etc on the ocean still hot. Yeah I’d say we prob pray to Buddha and modern technology no the heat issue. Idk what answer is…..just a lot of people. And I’m def not a kill em kinda dude. Even though I am killer for sure lol. Swim….even though my camp on lake in central Maine I keep track of temps this year 9.8 degrees warmer than any other year I’ve kept track of. Not good. But you know there Al Kat no mosquitoes or black flies with it so dry and hot. Just ticks…..😂😂😂😂😂 Dude you have a great day!

Having a great time, fortunate enough to have a few lake camps on some amazing spots, 13 and 9 year old boys, relatives who all want to come to Maine in summer, a boat new to me, my first reliable water skiing boat so I can more easily without holding my little boat steady for 8 miles, can cruise…..
