Posca pens are super popular for painting on rocks in my area. They are super hard to find in stores, but we have recently found them in a semi local craft store, called Craft Warehouse. They are mostly only available on Amazon. I've also heard that the black and white are used up the most as well, so people always buy extra of those, but mostly because of the outlining and the background work, so it isn't just you. I personally don't own any yet, but desperately want to own them all. I also have a pen obsession. I love all sorts of pens, but right now I have a weird obsession with novelty pens. They are so cute. LOL Darn Dollar Tree.. .haha. :D

I know they aren't expensive, but I've been wanting to buy to Sakura white Gelly Roll pens for some time now. They come in a 3 different size pack now for like $6. Can't wait to get my hands on them! Nice to know they are your favorite.

Great and inspiring video as always. I would love to have those moonlight gel pens but I'm concernec because I've found the Sakura White to be terrible. Even from the outset it barely made a mark and the ink comes out thin and scratchy. It dries out so often and when I get it going again it still barely makes a mark. Granted I've been using the Sakura 50 rather than 80 so maybe the Sakura 80 works better but I've found that the Uniball Signo White is a million times better than the Sakura. I'd love to see you do a comparison between the Sakura 50 Sakura 80 and Uniball Signo to see what you think.

I used to love the white jelly roll as well until I tried sukura white gel pen. Soo much brighter and not playing games to get it to work properly. Their Gold and silver are also amazing. You should definitely try them. I got my set on amazon for maybe $5.

Love Posca pens. I have black and white as well and like them better than others brands I've tried with the exception of Molotow. Unfortunately I can't get them in my local arts/crafts store anymore. I am planning on ordering a full set of Posca in all the colors.

I love Sakura pens!!! When I first started buying pens when I started my bullet journal I had purchased some alcohol-based markers but they bled through the paper a lot. What kind of projects can you use alcohol-based markers for? Maybe I don't write fast enough, lol. I don't think they are good for me and my bullet journal, but I would like to use them for something, any ideas would be great, thank you so much! I do enjoy crafting too, maybe that would be an idea, idk.
@SunsetTwist6 жыл бұрын
I use alcohol markers for drawing, they are better for blending than regular markers and they also get a better result for flat color. I think most alcohol markers aren't erasble so they're good for plastic or fabric though I'm not sure . But if you want them for bullet journal just use Crayolas, they don't bleed and come in a lot of colors :) (and are way cheaper)
@maried40696 жыл бұрын

You're right about UniPoscas! In Italy they were very common during the 80s-90s. My (older) sister and me used them a lot back in those days, basically to decorate fabric things like pencil cases or school diaries/agendas and all the things which is impossibile to use normal markers on. My sister decorated even t-shirts and pillowcases So.. here they have been present for 20 years at least. Almost 30, I think. I wasn't used to buy them often, because they were quite expensive, and yes, they're not so long-lasting, unfortunately :/

I love those! They are similar to the Posca ones, but these can be refilled. You can also buy blank empty ones and mix your own color, or change the tips if they get damaged or if you want another size/shape of nib.

I love Posca pens (I've heard it said pah-skah, fwiw); they are available now at Jerry's Artarama. Another cool thing you can do with them is using a wet brush, you can make a wash or spread them out a bit, but you have to do it before the paint dries. And might I add, I hate most paint pens, just a waist of money: Sharpie, Pentel, etc. horrible.
