I bought a 30s style black velvet heel from the Aerosoles store in Chicago when I was in high school (probably 7 years ago). They are still the most comfy heel I own!

I was going to mention them too! They had a booth at Dapper Day and I tried some on, they were super comfortable, well made, and very true to the vintage styles of the 40's and 50's vs the modern interpretations we see from most companies.

I’m a big fan of Chelsea Crew shoes! They have more modern styles as well but they have lots of retro style cute shoes with mid and lower heels. As a serious swing dancer, I look for shoes that stay on (T-straps and lace ups mostly) and are comfortable and not too high of a heel and this brand doesn’t disappoint.

My favorite shoes are from Ahnu, the style is Malini. They are a cork soled fisherman style sandal. It's totally an old lady shoe brand, but these ones don't look like it at all. They are the most amazingly comfortable shoes I've ever worn! I'm a mom and a preschool teacher so functionality and longevity are a must for me. These are real leather so they last forever., and the cork is very comfortable to walk on.

They are a lil bit pricy, but TUK also makes great pinup/rockabilly heels too! I have a pair of two-tone T-strap mary janes from them that I can wear for work and leisure and I get regular compliments on them.

Anyone got tips on how to walk in heels and how to wear them for a while? The balls of my feet really start to hurt, even after a short time! And I've never been able to walk confidently in heels... So jealous of your shoe collection. They're amazing!

The Corner of Craft Same, I'll sometimes wear wedge heels these have helped me feel safe while wearing "heels" and a tip the taller the heel the more ones feet will hurt.

I have a really cute pair of vintagish style wedge heel Areosoles. They are the most comfortable heels I own. I found them at the thrift store and have worn them out. So sometimes they do ok with heels it just more hit or miss.

I absolutely swear by Chase & Chloe shoes 👐 I'm a lil obsessed with the brand 💖 When I'm buying shoes I like them to be Cute, Colourful, Comfy and Cost effective. Chase & Chloe make flats and heels (which are not too high not too short just right 😉) in a myriad of colours and vintage styles. You can find them in a few different places as Cherry mentioned Modcloth is super awesome for great shoes, u.s kmart, Nordstrom and where I get them from Zulily. I am on my feet a lot for work and general walking around. And I adore Payless shoes from the brand Comfort Plus they have cushion insoles and I wear their Mary Jane's, their sneakers a ton, and their sandals, too. My high heel days are over, I do like to some times wear wedges that are only 1 inch tall. And sadly their shoes are made with some leather and at the moment I have not found any man made non-leather shoes that are comfortable, that offer a wide variety of shoes to choose from. If any of you ladies know of any non-leather comfortable shoe companies it would be super awesome to know about ? Another brand I like is from Kmart its the Basic Edition Mary Jane's with memo tech insoles (man made materials) my only issues with these shoes is the heel of the shoe cuts into my heel when I'm wearing them with out socks. These shoes are fine when wearing panty hose, stockings, and knee highs, some times I'll stick a band aid on my heels when I'm wearing ankle socks with these shoes. And the soles on the bottom of the shoe do not grip some floors and floor paints. I'll be out walking and all of a sudden my foot slides back. The good thing is this does not happen a lot it happens once in a great while and I have never fallen while wearing these shoes.

Angelina G 😂 I don't even remember commenting this but can tell I was having a bad day and Cherry had said woman one too many times for me to handle that particular day (I have OCD about these things if I believe in something I get obsessive about it) and I strongly support equality, however I agree there was no need to comment this, but also it doesn't take any extra effort just to add a quick ''or men" after the word woman, just once so I don't know why people are so against it. Is it really such a bad things for some people to feel the need to add these things to keep everyone happy? So they feel better about themselves or whatever? It's not doing you any harm, I don't care if you don't say it, it's just something I like/ need to do. Also these types of shoes are not comfortable for anyone and everyone has different shaped feet, the difference isn't only between men and woman.

Angelina G well I don't understand that at all, in my mind everyone is equal, meaning we all have feelings, we all feel pain, we all need to eat and drink… we all have the same basic needs and wants. I'm not saying we are all the same, of course we all have different personality, likes and dislikes and whatever, but the basic as are all the same, therefore everyone/everything deserves to be treated the same, EQUALLY with the same amount of respect, poor or rich, old, young, man, woman, human, squirrel… and that means if a man wants to wear these kinds of shoes, I can't say it's there are any or not, he can, just like a woman can decide if wearing them would make her happy or not, as long as no one is getting hurt there is nothing wrong with that.

Angelina G that is exactly why I explained how I was having a bad day, I don't expect Cherry or any other youtuber to always have to watched their words or whatever, although I would prefer if they choose to but that is their choice and I respect that, generalizing is just easier to do, it's just not what I like to do. Even though it's not going to change the world or anything, it makes me happier to do so, which changes things for me. As for the sensitive part, I find nothing wrong with that, being compassionate isn't a bad thing and again I don't understand why everyone seems to think so.
