I converted two Ikea detolf display cabinets into plant enclosures , I used a jigsaw and cut two holes in the top then installed whisper quite computer fans with speed settings for air flow . I love in Pittsburgh and the winters can be so dry , my humidifiers weren’t cutting it ... best decision I’ve made . The humidity always read 60-80 % and my plants absolutely love it . They are much prettier to look at and display your plants then a plastic pop up green house . Thank you for sharing , I love your channel . Stay safe and enjoy your little nugget ❤️

Check out “The Rule of Three” in home decorating. You have the right idea putting the three plants, on the floor, next each other. Things grouped in threes look the best. It’s ok to buy what you want. If you see it and you don’t buy it you will regret it. I like you choices in plant furniture.

Lovely video and great distraction from everything else. Being currently at home and working from home gives me so much more time. Which means I slowly ascend into the plant abyss. I personally just get cheap terracotta pots and paint them with wall paint. Wall paint still lets air and water vapor through. Plus the bonus is, a pot full of wallpaint lasts you forever and painting them all the same color gives a really uniform look. And I also don't loose the traidmarks of terracotta. Though all my plant are currently on my window. I have a distinctive lack of plant that are more inside the room.

Harli, this was a very inspirational video! I like the turquoise planter in your son’s room. I have used those small wire add height panty shelves (don’t know the real name of them, Hah!) to elevate some plants and also old cookie or chocolate tins to raise some plants to higher level than the ones in front. For propagation I’ve even used tall slim glass vases by putting marbles in most of it and then filling it with water. The shorter thinner plant cuttings stay on the top and don’t fall down.

Not really a floor stand, but I had bought set of tiered glass cake stands that I would only bring out to use for parties, but storage is tight so I started using them as table top plant stands. Helps break up the row of plants so you can more easily group them together or just create a more layered look. Also good to help get more light on the plants they may get pushed back behind another plant.🤗. Happy quarantine!

An idea for that plant stand you bought on sale at urban outfitters (the yellow short one): Maybe you can get a pine wood cut an inch larger in circle circumference, place it on top to cover it and place the plant in a matching colored pot on top of it. That way you’re making it taller as a table, and you can keep the stromanthe plant you love so much, and you’ve paired so nicely with.

I like using unusual items as planters and plant stands. Thrift stores are the best. I purchase large cookie jars , remove the lid and insert plant. Most I pay is $3 to $10. Also use creamers for small plants. Umbrella stands for hanging plants, and floor vases work great. Childrens step stools to reach the sink. Large candle holders.....never bought new. Never spend over $15.00. 😊🌿🌱🍃

Awesome! Stands are so vital to me... At the very least, a matching tray. For some succulents and other xeriscape plants, I'll even display them on a terra cotta tray flipped upside down, especially if I don't WANT the plant sitting in water! Also, I hate when there's just a pot without a tray. My OCD goes off seeing the water stains on the pavement! Stands also anchor pots to the surrounding decor and/or landscape. If you don't have a tray or stand, use rocks or other small pots.
