I love that philosophy! Rather have healthy hair than length. I feel like people say it all the time but it just hit me! I’m always trimming my hair for the same reason …. but still get mad because I want length too lol! But if it grows long and looks healthy then great. If not, love it where it’s at and keep it healthy. I needed that lol, thank you!

Looks good. My hair was relaxed from a child to my college years. My mom admitted that she didn’t know what to do with my natural curl pattern and the more she tried the more my hair was not looking good so she relaxed it as she was taught in her youth. I didn’t mind it because I loved straight hair. But after being natural for 3 years I’ve come to love my 3c curly hair even though it’s a pain in the ass. I’ve never been sick from chemically altering my hair so if I was truly having issues with the curls I’d just flat iron it. Do you guys and girls.

I would definitely want my hair to grow really long but if it's not gonna grow and look like this, then I don't want it. My sentiments exactly! When I get my perm I'm gonna always be cutting it if it's growing out thin. I LOVE thick hair. And i prefer health over length.

Thank you so much for this, my mom use to look after my hair but she never really knew how to take care of hair that's why i got a perm when i was 12. Now that i'm 19 and live with my dad (my mom moved to another state far away 😫😖) i've have to step up, the products my mom gave me to, as i am, i think is used specifically for natural hair. So now i have to start over and find what i can use to wash and moisturize it when i'm not able to go to the hair salon.💕💕

Hi I was wondering if you, or anyone in the comments could give me some advice🥴 I got my hair relaxed back in October, the person who did it didn’t take the relaxed down far enough on my natural growth and now my hair is messed up! I have new growth, then a section that’s relaxed, then a section that isn’t, and then the ends are relaxed. I wasn’t too bothered because I’ve had a sew in’s for the past while but now I’ve not I can really notice it ☹️ my question is, is it okay to re-relax over the bit she kind of done? It has been nearly 10 months since that hair had any relaxed on it, I just want it to be all relaxed rather than in weird sections but don’t want to ruin my hair! Thanks in advance for anyone who can help!! ❤️❤️

Honestly , I’ve experienced a messed up relaxer before but what I’ve done to fix it is by just waiting a bit for my relaxer to grow out then relax the whole thing ( new growth + the kinda messed up areas ) it’ll be okay . Trust me .

So I need some advice on my hair. So I’m a 14 year old black female and I’m very confused on what to do with my hair. I have naturally curly hair and I keep trying to define my hair but I can never find the right products for it. So I’m trying to decide on staying natural or relaxing my hair. I see so many people walking around with beautiful Afros then when I try it it I look like a depressed lion. But I’m scared if I try to relax it I’ll look like lord farquad. Can you please give me some advice?!💕
@talktosummerofficial4 жыл бұрын
You'll first want to identify your curl pattern. Go to naturally curly.com to identify you pattern, typically two types usually, and then you can go to KZbin/Google to find best products and support (LOC method, etc.). Hope this helps!
