What I love most about the sponges are they never have an odor, most other sponges get an odor after just a few uses and plus they're biodegradable. 💛

With zero research or anything to back it up, based on the fact it was a smiling face, I had always assumed the Scrub Daddy was a gimmick. After seeing your videos showing it in use, I finally bought one, and it's amazing for cleaning anything I've used it on, especially in the kitchen. Thanks for the recommendation and advice!
@alison500927 күн бұрын
Agreed! Thought it was a gimmick. We had one in our extended stay hotel and I loved it. This channel has shown how great they are! I did buy a generic version of the gray sponge on baseboards and walls!
@cindy84626 күн бұрын
Why is it good? How is it better than a regular sponge? Genuinely curious!
@emptybookdan26 күн бұрын
@@cindy846 They're unexpectedly "squishy," so they absorb water, cleaner, or soap mixes like a sponge, so you get cleaner mixed in with the mechanical scrubbing action. I was expecting it to be rigid, and it's anything but. The lattice of it is also more open than you'd expect, so it's easy to rinse out anything that get picked up while scrubbing. AND, easy rinsing out means it won't develop a smell like a normal sponge with Scotch-Brite on one side will. Also, because it's plastic instead of metal, such as steel wool, it's almost always going to be softer than the material you're scrubbing, so there isn't a scratch risk. On top of that, the material that makes up the lattice is unexpectedly strong, so despite being very thin fibers, it can withstand pretty heavy duty scrubbing without ripping.
@kurlykaitlyn26 күн бұрын
@@cindy846when you’re using warm/hot water it makes the scrub daddy softer. Put it in cold water and it becomes stiff and more helpful for tougher scrubbing. I like scrub mommy most because you get the scrub daddy side but also a softer sponge side on the reverse

My favorite company is scrub daddy!! I love that they sponsor free cleanings from tiktokers in order to help those without the means to clean for themselves. They seriously go above and beyond by replacing soiled furniture, and even paying to have cleaners come by regularly to help those with limited mobility!!!

I remember a kid getting a grill brush bristle stuck in his gum after the grill was cleaned. It got into a burger and was lodged in his gum for a few days until the doctors found it and figured out what it was. I’m glad there are alternatives without bristles!
