Got2B Glued... I danced for 16 years and would use that for my recital buns. Those buns would probably survive a nuclear war 😂😂 (on the other hand, the dressing room was probably toxic with all the hairspray fumes 😂) another good product is Aussie Instant Freeze Mousse! It holds very very well without feeling crunchy, and can even brush out without washing if need be

It’s a drag performer’s best friend too. I once styled a pompadour on Wednesday. I then wore that all week because I had a show on Friday. I even wore a wig over it Friday-day. Insane.

I’m just super excited that you’re doing some long form videos, because I’ve really been wanting to just get an idea of your basic braid tips/techniques!! I have very long thick straight hair, and have gotten better at braiding a little but I always feel like it’s hard to separate the sections, keep everything nice and in the right place as I go, etc…I’m just looking forward to seeing if I can learn some of the basic components you use to create your larger/complex designs, if that makes sense. As in, I wouldn’t be able to replicate your styles of course but would love to see how a bushel braid is done, or how you placed those rings in for the Viking style! No matter what you do next, I have greatly enjoyed your awe-inspiring work and you are amazing! Thanks for sharing! ❤

thank you Molly for sharing the info. Amika products all smell so good. Unfortunately I am extremely sensitive to any & all fragrance, especially synthetics. It is very difficult to find products that don't have any fragrance. Now you asked if there is a video you could make on something we'd like to know. I think a video on "your fav vitamins" we have to feed our hair, skin, & nails from within. I like your creativeness its pretty awesome! And your black cat is Gorgeous!

One thing that would help me alot as I watch videos on hair products is if you could hold the item still for a few seconds with the label showing clearly; then I take screen shots so I know what I'm looking for when I shop. Or when the item is listed in the show notes. I really appreciate you sharing your routines! ❤

Hey girl!!! Started following you recently and wanted to share some of my hair care favs! I've tried TONS over the years, being a natural redhead and most of my current favs are the WOW brands... and lately I've loved the Shea Moisture brand for hair products, skin products, and all over pampering! Also, in recent years, I've discovered the TYME brand hair tools and I absolutely LOVE the blow-dry straight brush!!! I have very naturally curly/wavy hair and live in the South with LOTS of humidity most of the year so this is a life-changing hair tool!!! lol!

Bless your heart for sharing this info! 💖 Idk why it's so easy to find people styling hair but not the info on what they used to get it to stay. I am trying to live my best fantasy life as a mere mortal by trying to master some princessy fae braids, I have long slick straight hair and can never figure out how to get them to fluff out and keep stray hairs from slipping out of the braid during the day. I am thinking I need to try a "texturizing spray" I bought one the was supposed to be a combo with a dry shampoo and I hate how gross and crunchy it makes my hair. I am like you and don't use much heat, teasing, or over wash all to keep my mane healthy so I am so hesitant to put something in my hair that will require me to need a wash the next day. I gotta keep practicing and building strength in my arms! Braiding the back of my head has been a work out 😅 I have two questions: 1.) Do you ever prep you hair before braiding with a oil or anything? 2.) When you do heatless curls do you prep the hair with a moose? I find my curls don't last long from having such long thick hair.

I don't need valium. I wake up to frizzy hair that looks like a lion's main. You are lucky. You can afford good hair products. I can barely afford food and cleaning supplies. I am working on a budget. I am handicapped living on government assistance. I am going to be getting more help from my adopted mom, she's going to make sure I have enough food. I was doing okay, until last month, my EBT benefits were shut down. I need to get back on it. I will be able to get more hair products once I get this situation balanced out. I am so glad I found your channel. I have very long hair too and it's a full time job. LoL I can't wear my hair down or it gets caught in windows doors and it gets into people's faces if I am not careful. That happened before LoL. I made a new friend after my hair tried to kill both of us. It stays in a bun now. I use two different types of brushes both hard and soft bristle brushes. The hard brush is for tangles and the soft is for finishing. I need to try dry shampoo. I didn't think about that. I think it might help me with my tangle problem. I have used dry shampoo before and I loved it. It smells good and it softens my hair. 😊❤

I don't know what you believe spiritually but I know that we do actually reincarnate and we choose our lives. Your generation is choosing this fun, beautiful, fantasy stuff more and more and it's so incredible! Up until now there was mostly greed and poverty and people coming in to experience absolutely awful trauma to learn how to pull ourselves out of suffering and gain control over the ego, emotions, feelings and addictions which is not fun. I'm 60 now and I dreamed of doing things like you're doing my whole life. Next time I absolutely will because I aced the other stuff this time around. I absolutely love what you're doing and I hope to meet you in fairy land one day very soon so you can teach me all your tricks. ❤❤❤
@amandamagni1606
@amandamagni1606 Жыл бұрын
I think a big part of this generation choosing fantasy is because reality is worse. It’s escapism. But I’m a Christian so reincarnation is not something I believe in. (I used to) but I just wanted to share because you seem spiritual and intelligent. I will be praying for Jesus to open eyes and bring wisdom! 💜💜💜
@farrenrohana
@farrenrohana Жыл бұрын
@@amandamagni1606 Thank you for saying I seem intelligent, I am actually a very intelligent person and I say that because I don't buy into anything just because everyone else does, including and especially, God, Religion and the Bible. I question absolutely everything and I am not punished, but rewarded by God for doing so. I was brought up by a mother who was very active in the Charismatic Renewal (a blend of Christianity and Catholicism). I went to Catholic school and my mother dragged me to the prayer meetings she led. I actually listened, even though she believed I didn't. My spiritual growth has been my focus my whole life (I'm 60), and I have spent the last 20 years in isolation so I could put 100% of my attention on it. However, from the time I was in grade 5 I heard things that made me question everything I was being taught. So many things didn't make sense and every time I questioned what I heard I was threatened with going to Hell which never made sense either. I was told that God is an all loving God, yet I was supposed to believe that He would give me only one chance to get it right while being surrounded by suffering, nasty people who bullied me, abused me and confused me. My mother was the worst of all, she was a narcissist and spiritually abusive, and catholic school was no better. Then God expected me to figure it all out in one life and if I did the slightest thing wrong, including just swearing, I'd go to Hell? According to the Bible pretty much everyone is going to Hell. None of this made sense. For many years I couldn't prove it, even to myself, but I KNEW in my heart that what the church was teaching and much of the Bible wasn't right, it just simply didn't make sense. I searched and searched for answers. Then one day I came across the most amazing KZbin channel called Giving Voice to the Wisdom of the Ages that posts spiritual audio books. I listened to many of the books and other spiritual writings before I finally came upon The Christ Letters and suddenly I was lifted into the light of God/Christ. The author of The Christ Letters is simply called The Recorder. The people who wrote the Bible were describing their contact with the Lord as being overcome, today we call it channeling. Yes, there are a great many channelers these days, I've listened to many of them, I have the time. I found most of them to say a lot of good things but I was always left feeling down and like something was missing or that I was doing something wrong that I couldn't quite put my finger on. The Christ Letters proved to be very different. One important lesson I learned along the way is that the bad teachings are just as important as the good ones because without the bad how do you discern truth? Another thing I learned about discerning truth is that as long as you are not 100% truthful yourself, and honestly seeking truth, you will not be able to discern truth. Yes, you can and will make mistakes but you will notice them almost immediately and say so, apologizing if necessary. If you are close minded and unwilling to listen you'll never learn new things and never grow spiritually. The Bible and the teachings of the Church are not the be all end all of spiritual enlightenment nor is what I know. There is always more to learn and we definitely reincarnate so we can continue to learn and grow. How do I know that for sure? Many years ago I watched these 2 videos of children remembering their past lives. They're short videos but if you watch and still think there's no such thing as reincarnation then you're simply not ready for that truth and that's perfectly ok. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6KbnWeOi8uahqMsi=3LTo2F-6U_Ow8WDG kzbin.info/www/bejne/haXOfHmmfKihorMsi=3nkBG-Z9GGG5PrTv Children do not lie. But what else made me believe The Christ Letters were true above all else? First I have always believed from the time I was 15 that money and spirituality do not belong together. The first thing I noticed was how the 800 page pdf is 100% free. There is zero money involved and Christ told the recorder many times they were to remain free. Then I saw it was extremely well written. Then I noticed that all those questions I had throughout my life were being answered intelligently and those answers made perfect sense. And so The Christ Letters changed my life. If you believe what you believe so strongly you won't question it and you think you'll be punished by God for doing so then there's absolutely nothing I can say to change your mind. But if you have the courage to hear the actual truth from Christ Himself then you will truly be set free. I must also mention that it is not an easy path to follow. You must face ALL your wrong doings, drop the guilt, forgive yourself, and forgive EVERYONE for theirs, even people like Hitler and those who crucified Christ. Not easy. To be honest I have flip flopped between the Christian teachings and The Christ Letters and every single time I go back to the old ways I find unhappiness and confusion. When I turn back to the truth I find peace and joy. Yhe link to The Christ Letters is below. This site is created by Barry the creator of that spiritual audio book channel I mentioned. He found that the Recorder had gone against Christ's repeated instructions that the Letters remain free and she had attempted to sell them. She actually tried to sue Barry for creating the website but she failed because it actually says repeatedly throughout the letters that they should remain free. Another reason I found them so credible. I hope you find yourself able to read them and grow but if not there's nothing to fear. You'll have as many chances as you need to get it right. Remember: God is pure unconditional love anything based in negativity, fear, anger, and hatred is NOT of God. www.christsway.co.za

My hair is 3ft long and bright purple. My hair routine is totally drugstore, but I am in the UK so idk how many of these you can get up in the US. Washing: I use Herbal Essences Ignite my Colour shampoo and conditioner, plus prescription Nizoral (dandruff shampoo) when I need it and the Argan Oil hair mask (Argan Oil is the brand name) Detangling: I switch between Herbal Essences Hemp and Aloe Vera oil blend and Schwartzkopf Gliss Liquid Silk Brushes: Star Wars tangle teezer for day to day brushing, Primark styling brush for smooth styles, Primark teasing brush and rat tail comb (that’s what those combs are called, like the blue one you have from dollar general) Styling: for things like mousse and hairspray I usually just go for whatever’s cheap because I generally find they’re all the same, but as I say I do have Got2B Glued on hand for any day when I need that hold. I like Batiste dry shampoo, usually I’ll get one that smells good (I have 2 huge bottles of the floral scent from Costco) but I’m really enjoying the colour protect one right now because it doesn’t leave a white cast and protects my hair from UV rays. I use the L’Oréal Studio Line Mineral&Control gel paste for flyaways when I’m doing ballet, because it doesn’t make my hair crunchy like gel does. I don’t use heat so haven’t got a favourite heat protectant, but super important in summer, I LOVE the Malibu SPF 30 clear hair and scalp protectant, because it doesn’t make my hair look greasy but still protects my white af scalp from sunburn. For dye I use the Knight & Wilson Colour Freedom semi-permanent dye in Mystic Purple over naturally blonde hair This may not help you, Scarlett, but hopefully it can help someone in the UK who also has or wants super long hair 😊

Similar hair, similar colour, similar face and as far as I can tell, my skin seems to be similar to hers as well haha :D and my friends brought me here, because they told me about her :D So anyway: Try not to dmg your hair that much and then it will grow on its own. good luck to you! :)

So me a f ny daughter have been watching your videos in awe 😍 So my daughter is about to be 9 and wants to grow her hair like Rapunzels hair 😅 its almost to her waist with that being said she only wants it down never anything done with it. So my question is how can she constantly have it down without it being a tangled mess? Is there even a way? My hair has never been past my shoulders its crazy thick and hot and barely knots so idk even how to help her

Simple answer - she can't. While it's out it will move and dry and get tangled and rough. Mine is in a long braid, now doubled up and twisted into itself (and *still* past the shoulderblades) and *only* comes out for special occasions. Do let her know from a fellow long-hair that it needs to be covered or tied back to be protected and to grow better. One braid, or two pigtails, or tied into a bun, or looped up and covered with a scarf. Also, only condition past the neckline down.

Have to agree, you either braid or pony. My hair is similar to Scarlett's. I'm raising 10yo grand. Hair to bottom of booty, super duper thick, med to course. I'm here looking for solutions for both of us. Pushing for her to start using a boar brush during the day.
