My Favorite Summer Running Clothes

The reason I like the higher pockets in rabbit's Leggy bike style shorts is because closer to the hip, the phone doesn’t impact as much with its extra weight on one leg. As far as length, at first I only wore the 7”, but I’ve come to like 4” and have been reassured my legs are still flattered in them despite my…uh….advanced AG😂

I also would never wear anything shorter than 5" inseam. (Cause chub-rub 🙃) My favorite are the athleta salutation stash pocket shorts in 7" and 5".

Love these reviews/recommendations! Very intrigued by the soar crop! Will be looking up some of these items for my next splurge I think 😂 All summer I’m in the brooks 3 pocket drive bra. Easy to access the phone pocket, plus good coverage and support (and fun colors / prints!). Also must mention the Patagonia duckbill cap: meshy like the bandit one, so my sweaty head can breathe!

I really want to try a Soar tank top. Just need to pull the trigger. I always appreciate a back zip pocket on my running shorts. I wish they all did that. But the side pockets are absolute must. Running hats are a challenge for me because my head gets so hot. That Bandit one looks like it might work for me. Especially if I look as cool as Ruby does in it.

Doing clothes is a lot harder as there is so much stuff out there and it would cost a fortune to buy and try. I have Aeroswift tanks but am thinking of trying Rabbit because they cost about half as much. I have 4 old RoadRunner shorts which are perfect as they have slash pockets and they are just the right size for a phone that don't bang against my leg. But they don't make them anymore and the zipper is going on one of them. I just use the Kirkland Puma socks from Costco as they work fine for me. I have one NB Ice tee-shirt and I do like it for spring/fall but it is a heavier material then stuff in the past couple of years. I live in a cold area so I have a ton of stuff, mostly from Eastern Mountain Sports for running when it's cold. I good running clothes channel would need about 10 people to contribute as there's so much stuff out there.

Can I ask do u put your running clothes in the dryer? I hang my bras but shirts and bottoms I put in the dryer on low. Would u trust that? I want my clothes to last a long time so I’m just curious if u put your running clothes in the dryer :)

I usually hang my shorts to dry, but everything else goes in the dryer!

I mostly wear rabbit and they recommend hang dry, but I do that with all my nicest running clothes…or any nice clothes, really. Running clothes dry so quickly anyway. If I’m in a hurry I set the dryer on medium heat and take things out just a few minutes later if I’m nearby.
