The solos here are able to be jus improvising, and pretty sure they’d let any instrument that wants to do it, since it’s grade 2 most band directors would allow it since lower grade pieces don’t have to be so strict and down to detail, unless the director is a stickler

@@rest.. they are, but most directors will agree that improvising actually teaches you jazz cuz that’s what it really is at its core. Also, making your own music on the run is just an underrated skill to have, and to make it so good it sounds written is even better
