OK, my favorite things here: 1. The technical sophistication of the harmony. 2. Kevin was insanely impressive with his vocal percussion. To me, this seemed to stand above most of his already impressive work. 3. Kristen's lead was exactly right for this song. 4. The look of Christmas in the 1800's nostalgia. Props to the set and costume designer(s). 5. Keeping the feel of the original song and making it more upbeat and modern. That's a Pentatonix Christmas to me.

I never think of this song as Christmas, but I LOVED their arrangement! I loved the theatrics, the costumes, the ‘choreography’, if you will. Kirstie nailed the leads so cleanly, and I can’t help it, but I always find Mitch mesmerizing. I just can’t take my eyes off him. I decided to do some research and found out the promoters of the Broadway musical asked the writers to change a few of the words to make the song sound a little more Christmas like and they released it early to help advertise the play which debuted over the holiday season. KIRSTIE IS SUCH AN INSPIRATION, A QUEEN AS ALWAYS. Her voice fits so perfectly as the lead voice for this piece and everyone else's vocals are so beautiful as well. I cannot leave out Kirstie's hair and makeup though, whoever was in charge of those did so well. MUCH LOVE TO ALL OF PENTATONIX AND THEIR SUPPORTING STAFF ❤️❤️❤️
