Malina, Matthias Church and the Fisherman Bastion is far from the short festival strip. You should definitely go and check those out, highlights of the Castle disctrict and of course Budapest :) Festival ground is short and place to a less visited part of the whole castle disctrict, not to disturb the main attractions.

Hi! We have a Sri Lankan guy working for us. Last winter, he was constantly complaining about the cold. We just laugh at +10 Celsius "cold", but those who are used to 30 Celsius are really cold. For us, +30 celsius is too hot. In my opinion, +5 celsius + humidity is worse than dry -10 celsius. Váci utca is traditionally about shops. A little help for correct Hungarian pronunciation. It's not perfect, but it mostly works. C= Ts in it's CS = CH in chose S = SH in shell SZ = S in sand Ö = EA in earth E = First E in edge É = A in age A = A in Alway ( something like O but wider) Á = U in under (same here) J = Y in you U = OU in you Y = do not say E, this is (MOSTLY) paired with something else like N or T In family names, I can also indicate noble origin. NY = N in new TY = T in Turing GY = D in during LY and J = Y in yes Attention! It does not apply to historical family names.

Not Pest, it's "Pesht". Pests in EN means different thing. Also the city has 3 parts. The old city called Óbuda, Buda, and the flat part Pest. Yeah, there is a huge renovation, called Hausmann project build - where many part of the castle district gets new face, and heavy renovation process.
