I love that Christmas scene picture. I would hang it at eye level so it can be enjoyed more. Eye level for portraits and detailed pictures are the best viewing. In your bucket I would put folded antique quilts and a cream colored afghan spilling over one edge. Great finds! 🎄⛄

Don't even worry about not doing a whole home tour. I'm just super happy when you have a new video out. I love the thrifting, diy-ing, anything! I think that we sometimes forget that you have an actual life and that's what we love about you! Just keep being Julie. So glad I found you this year!

You are Precious....I still remember my very first garage sale. It must have been at least 40 years ago....but I remember the thrill I got from buying cool things. I bought a sugar and creamer set and a cup with a motorcycle on it. I still lived at home so I gifted them to my parents. I wonder where they are now. Lol I love the metaphor of "hunting stories". It is true. Each piece has a story to tell. ❤🇨🇦

I would keep the bucket outside for sure! You would be great at making cut out wood items! (Hearts, shamrocks, Easter eggs, etc.) In the summer you could set a plant of flowers inside, and then go for pumpkins in the fall!! You could set a small ladder inside to add more decor. I also love your small trees! I’ve been looking for some, but they are so expensive!🎄 I enjoyed this video!

I absolutely love your channel and your personality!! I wish we were neighbors!! One of my earliest memories are thrifting with my grandmother, I lived with her and that’s how she clothed me!! I’ve done it ever since, if I can’t buy it used I have a really hard time paying retail!!! I’ve bought several pieces from farm auctions when we used to live in Iowa those are probably my favorites!! Also once we moved back to Oklahoma I was able to buy an vintage Amish Double solid oak school desk with bench!! I’m a retired teacher so that means a great deal to me!!

Don’t feel bad about not doing a home tour....THIS BY FAR WAS MORE INTERESTING! Home tours make me think that my home is blah! Or does not match up....but don’t get me wrong I LOVE seeing what others do and get ideas !!!! LOL!!! THANK YOU for sharing YOUR FAVORITE thrift finds that you use for Christmas decor or bring out for Christmas season. Love stories about the “hunt “.... 👍 Your bucket is an old mop bucket I think. It certainly looks like the shape of one. I keep my galvanized bucket out all year with Birch logs in it I just add little greenery for summer, etc . But we are is now country, so our snow is not gone until late March ! Right now we are under 30 inches of it...LOVE IT! Yet...worry about my husband and all the work involved...he is 71. How grand that you can “roll “ your tree away and then bring it back out !! If I could do that I would go back to a big tree again. I miss my big Christmas tree... ☹️ MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY !!!!!! 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

Loved the show and tell type "tour" of your favorite thrifted Christmas decor. My favorite Christmas decor pieces to display are my collection of nativity scenes. I found a set about 10 years ago in a Goodwill that were plaster figures. Someone had started to paint them but didn't finish them. I painted them and built the stable and manger and made a palm tree out of wine corks I carved and added fronds made from silk floral leaves. I only paid $2.50 for it and I wouldn't even sell it for $100 now lol Merry Christmas to you and your family and praying for a Happy and Healthy New Year for us all. ❤ Jo
