Position 2 on this guitar is my favorite clean tone I have heard so far.

Great video and review Sean, I’ve been looking for a good all rounder for church and this seems to tick all the boxes. Was looking at the OZ TNC but think the lower output pickups would be more effective for that ambient worship feel. Many thanks and God bless from Northern Ireland.

Hi, late reply here but im reallyy blown away by this guitar, i want to make it my 'workhorse' guitar, the only worry I have is that ai won't be able to get good jazz tones out of it, I know it is technically semihollow but haven't seen a review yet where someone played some jazz on it, did you try any? How did it sound?
@SeanPierceJohnson3 ай бұрын
I didn’t try it explicitly that way is it’s not my main need. But I’ve rolled the tone off and played some jazz chords a-okay!

Are you using that H&K? The tone is magnificent!

Yup. H&K for clean and pedal platform. Rockerverb for dirty stuff

Hello Sean, great review... how do you think that Matte finish will hold up? Will that eventually develop the shiny finish on certain parts of the guitar....?
@SeanPierceJohnson Жыл бұрын
I’ve never had a matte finish guitar turn glossy on me. I play it pretty much everyday and have gigged it numerous times, indoors and outdoors. The finish has no blemish at all.

@@SeanPierceJohnson thanks for the reply ..i am debating between this one in white or the vasti pdm...i must have watched ur reviews on these two guitars about 100x i had the tnc but the neck was too thin...couldnt get used to it

You played it on Church, Can it go like Lambertones kind of clarity?
@SeanPierceJohnson10 ай бұрын
a good question that i don't have an answer for. i've never played Lambertones so I can't comment on their sound. i've heard them but not well enough to give a comparison

Hey Sean. Thanks for your review. What the difference between the J1 and J2 versions of this guitar?
@SeanPierceJohnson Жыл бұрын
You’re welcome! Happy to do it. As far as I can tell the J1 & J2 are just different colors.

Ah, thanks for clarifying!

What does it weigh?

Sounds great. I wish theyd make some shorter scale guitars though.

Like Gibson scale or Mustang/Music Master short scale?

does "tapping" do anything when in the middle position?
@SeanPierceJohnson8 ай бұрын
Since the middle pickup is a single coil already, no it doesn’t.

Every source, and there are many, has said turning a humbucker into a single coil, is splitting, not tapping.
