I have three of those Takeya pitchers and I love them too! They're also great for cold-brewing tea OR cold-brewing coffee, and yes the leak-proof seal is a huge plus. I've had mine for a few years and they're still doing great.

We were so busy with my son’s graduation, we had family staying with us and then getting ready for our trip and then out of town. Whew. I barely had time to breathe. I don’t plan to stop making videos. Please keep watching them! I’ll post as I can. Life gets busy. Then slow. Then busy. Lol. What kind of videos do you like to see?

OMG I love the way Mabel was cuddled into your neck...what a little sweetheart!!! There is nothing quite like puppy kisses...thanks for introducing her! I have the same Takeya pitcher. I am very conservative of my tea stash as well and hate to use so much of it for a pitcher. When you say "perfect scoop" do you mean that you use the perfect spoon or the perfect pot spoon? Because I am so stingy with my good tea I have never used any of mine for the Takeya pitcher. Instead, I use 2 family sized tea bags of Southern Breeze pre-sweetened zero calorie bags. I don't usually like to use sucralose, but this makes the BEST sweet iced tea! (In my opinion) I do use my good tea when I use my David's Tea iced tea press since it's only 1 serving. Good luck with your new puppy, it looks like she found her perfect forever home! ❤

I used the perfect spoon that you use one scoop of for a Nordic mug. I used four of those for that pitcher. I don’t make iced tea that often. Sometimes I’ll use what I want to use up. Lol. I’m glad you enjoyed seeing Mabel! 💕

I do the same. David’s suggests 5 perfect spoons. How’s the cotton honey, what does it taste like? I’m sure I’d love it. I need my iced tea with a touch of honey. When it’s a little watered down with the ice, you really need the bit of honey. I need to get that tea. I’ve been meaning to try it! 😊 love the new puppy too what an adorable cutie!! Mable!!! That was my nickname in high school!!!!

The cotton honey is really just a nice well rounded honey. I’m not sure there’s a distinct flavor. It’s probably good with almost anything. It’s on the middle to lighter side in terms of richness I’d say. How fun that was your nickname!! The four scoops was perfect for my tastes in this pitcher. Thanks for watching and commenting!❤❤❤

I laughed a bit at "conserving tea" because iced tea turns me off because of how much tea you need. Davids tea says 4 scoops for a nordic mug size? Thats almost the entire pouch! I dont have a lot of money and tea is my splurge (and art supplies) I save money each month to do orders from the nicer companies. I do like peppermint iced tea because one Tetley bag goes a long way and it steeps very fast even in cold water.

I think David’s Tea is one-two scoops for a hot Nordic mug. I only use one perfect scoop for a big mug. I used four today because it was for a big pitcher. The ice water it down. Of course they’ll tell you to use more so they can sell more. Lol. I like being conservative unless it’s one I’m trying to use up. 😂
