I wasn't too fond of Levi when I first started watching him which was in his early days. But after a while I realized that I do like him the more I watch him and listen to him. Especially when he gives advice on archery!!! He really is a good guy and I have learned a few things watching him. One thing i like is he never has a big ego and he stays as humble as day one.I hope to meet him one day!!!

@atheisticallysound3 ай бұрын
God deserves the credit? Really? You’re just going to negate the years of blood, sweat, and tears that this man has gone through to become the Hunter that he is? God deserves none of the credit. The credit belongs to the hunter and what he has endured. Giving god the credit demeans everything this man lives for.

9:10 mark…didn’t bring enough arrows? Poke and hope is NO way to hunt ANY animal! This is the first video I’ve watched from Levi and I guess it’s just one more “celebrity” hunter I’ll never watch again.
@MrTheBurkes13 күн бұрын
Before you cast judgment, you should research antelope/pronghorn hunting distances. Rifle hunters routinely take 200-350-yard shots on these animals. Levi nailed a 110-yard shot, which is no small feat. At those distances, there are tons of variables that come into play. I've followed Levi for years and years, and I feel confident enough to say he didn't take any unethical or haphazard shots.
@PNY1545813 күн бұрын
@ What is the bullet drop on a 200-350 yard shot with a rifle? How long does it take the bullet to travel those distances? Does the bullet arrive on target before the animal hears the gun fire? How does Levis bow performance compare to your answers from the above questions? If the numbers are the same for a 200-350 yard rifle shot and a 110 yard shot with his bow, I retract my reply.
@MrTheBurkes13 күн бұрын
@PNY15458 a .308 zeroed for 50 yards has a 2.6" drop at 250 and 12.3" at 350. Total flight time is .27-.40 seconds. My hunting arrows, that I know will be heavier than Levi's, have a flight time of 1.3 seconds to reach 110 yards. His arrows are likely under 1 second. Yes, the bullet will impact before the animal hears it. There is, however, a ton of theory and testing that shows animals shot with a bow don't hear the bow. They hear the arrow in the last few milliseconds before it impacts. Now, considering Levi is one of the most heavily decorated archers in history, along with his proven track record for consistently harvesting big game, I'd say he is very well qualified to hunt pronghorn with a bow out past 100 yards.
@MrTheBurkes13 күн бұрын
@PNY15458 he's also likely pulling an 80lbs bow with 400-450grain arrows. It will be over 300fps, and likely over 315. That's less than one total second of flight time and you can see the pronghorn doesn't react until the arrow impacts in the video.
@Daveneedsvenison8 ай бұрын
You finally kill a deer within 40 yards. Nice! The antelope shot was ridiculously dumb. That’s not hunting, that’s target shooting with no concern for the animal.
@atheisticallysound3 ай бұрын
Thanking the lord for this kill is so ridiculous. You’ve spent hours perfecting your shooting skills, stalking skills, how to read weather patterns, topography, whitetail tendencies, etc. You’ve mastered your craft through countless failures and successes. YOU killed that deer. It’s the culmination of everything you live and breathe. God had nothing to do with it.
