These are exactly the thing my son’s room needs! I 3d printed a couple small building block shelves, but some wood shelves are definitely the way to go. Amen to some Bon Jovi!! OG lol

A suggestion, should try using an oil finish on the nicer wood. Walnut looks much better with just an oil finish. Love the build and vibes!

Great project! Just FYI, the basic "LEGO" brick is no longer covered by copyright protection, just the "exclusive" sets they produce. This is further evidenced by the various sets of "construction block" sets available at Amazon that advertise they are "compatible" with LEGOs. Another point to mention in reference to cutting out your "posts" for the bricks, you have removed the "pilot bit" from the arbor to eliminate the hole drilled in the "posts". The "arbor" holds the holesaw for mounting in the drill. Keep up the great work!

It *does* look like an elephant. Ive had a lego shelf or trunk in mind for a while, but i was thinking of using pvc caps or scrap pipe pieces with a cardboard circle on top since that would be on a bigger scale.

I like it :) they also make PVC caps that have squared edges instead of the traditionally rounded caps, they are usually black and by the drainage/sewage stuff

I had two of the craftsman planers, both had issues so i got the dewalt big boy. Otherwise I use a lot of craftsman stuff :)

I drilled two small holes on the side or bottom to hang them, depends onhow you want them to be on the wall :)
