I can imagine this video without unnecessary talk + quick details of measurements, takes maximum 5 to 7 minutes.. and that's why i love Japanese Videos in such regards.. But thanks anyway..

I know you do this for all your cords and have probably been doing it for a while. BUT... Using electrical cords while they are coiled up can create an induction coil which could melt the cord and start a fire. Especially with high amp draw equipment like a drill press when it binds up.

Thank you for sharing. I am just recording on tripod and storing the recordings. Not sure if I will put any videos up on KZbin, but thought I better record the starts of different things (Dust collection, Wood Lathe, bandsaw animals, etc...) as I cannot go back. I am however recording on my phone, and just put a remote plug socket for the dust collector controlled...on my phone. So I may need to rethink that. Maybe will use other phone for the controls of all the plug sockets. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Another great video.

Setup is still running smoothly. My test was setup for failure. During normal everyday use the big bucket collects 97% of the dust, I overloaded the cyclone when I sucked that much up that quickly 🤷♀️

Im curious as to when you might be moving your miter saw so you can cut longer pieces. Great job on the rig!
@WhosTheVoss2 сағат бұрын
😂😂 my wife asked me that the other day! It will never happen unfortunately. I cannot add onto the right side of the miter stand because the workbench snugs up against the wall and the dust collection lives right beside that. I can cut on the right side of the saw and trim the end of a board if I need to, I usually keep the crossed arm, wrong-hand cutting off camera :)

@ 3:15 Some overheads use a slanted mirror. Why not make the rig separate from the bench so you dont get vibrations? But its a great build!!!
@WhosTheVoss3 күн бұрын
Since my workbench is on wheels, if I bump the bench, it would angle the camera and not be straight so i attach it to the bench. If I add a weight to the back of the spine it takes out 90% of the vibration :)

Clean set up. Learning as you go for sure. Had to chuckle at a few of the problems you mentioned. Especially the camera shake. We use a C stand and turn the sky cam on a good minute before we start. And then there are times Bigfoot (me) kicks it during filming. I film for my Brides baking so to start over everything goes in the trash. Editing with everything lined up? So much easier. Enjoy your channel and enjoyed this one as much as your builds. Merry Christmas
@WhosTheVoss3 сағат бұрын
Definitely a learn as you go, I only have one film buddy who does videography but he doesn't live close by. When my cameras were free standing on the ground I had issues with the workbench moving things out of skew -__- lol, glad you enjoyed the video!
