Heavy load for legs make 5x1000m on hard surface. I prefer choose sandroad or even path in forest. Sure need some hard surface under legs if race will be on that kind of road. In my age (52) have to save legs as much as possible.

I HATE rocky asphalt. But, it's everywhere where i l iive. That and hills. No doubt makes one a faster runner for everywhere else (as long one doesn't get beat up too much on them).

Pat, compare this footage to Gwens peak running days, is it optical illusion or does she still have room for a bit more propulsion from extension of hip&knee? seems like hips quite low, but i havent seen her running that much, might be Gwens own and most efficient style / ore the lenses and optics plays tricks :) cant wait for the world cup race to happen and see where you guys are in comparison! :)

What's the rest? 1min30?
@lizhartman Жыл бұрын
Looks like she had 6 minutes each time to complete both the rep and rest. So, if the rep took 3:15, she’d have 2:45 to rest.

@@heikkisanelma6625 I agree with you, but I think it depends upon where you are. Technically the roads belong to the drivers, no? In places like NYC, there are lots of people around and to share the road with
