Sorry if some people are confused as to what the cue actually is... I thought it was clear, but the cue is to ‘reach your chest up to the bar’
@Tony-plkpc6 жыл бұрын
You said it very clearly 0:24

I want to thank u so much. I have had shoulder pain for three years long while bench pressing and nothing quite worked, but this pulling your chest to the bar has me benching without shoulder pain. Thanks again Bryce, you are amazing

Calgary Barbell tried it today and it felt amazing! What a huge difference it made especially in how just thinking about doing this alone brought all the cues I'm normally trying to remember all into one. Awesome tip! Btw I did have to rewatch to see what the cue was cuz I missed it the first time lol

I always bench with an arch, but I never thought of thinking "reach for chest up to the bar." Even just sitting here on my computer and doing that in the air, pretending like im on a bench, I feel my chest engage more. Wow. Def trying this next time I bench.

I like this alot, can’t wait to bench press later today and try this out as I always feel my arch collapses as the set goes on. Good info as always Brice!

New cue right on time! Gonna try this tonight as I have a bunch of heavy singles and hopefully this will help my poverty bench (your grip video already helped me so much). 2 weeks out!

Short to the point! I tried that as my only cue on bench and was able to jump an extra 15 lbs. higher on my last set than anticipated!

For whatever reason, bench has always been troublesome for me, as I overthink my form at times. Looking forward to implementing this on my next push day.
