I want to recommend to you a book that made me feel good for many days after I finished it it is a classic - it's called The Sun Also Rises - by Ernest Hemingway. the most intensive novel I read this year is Silence by Shusaku Endo, the film by Martin Scorsese is about to hit the cinemas. Walkinthe Woods The setting is Canada and L. M. Montgomery also wrote the Anne of Green Gables series. I prefer the Emily one though 😉

I'm in a period where I feel like I'm a bad reader, which I sometimes feel. I don't only have a hard time getting into books, but "getting" them - not only when it comes to feeling, but also understanding…
@solideogloria20228 жыл бұрын
PJ don't worry about it, the sun also rises is all about the experience and the state of mind of the characters /reader, you don't have to draw any golden quotes from it ;-) IMHO

James Holder I think if I had to choose between the two, I would also go for The Robber Bride. It's a stronger and more intense story, whereas The Blind Assassin is more subtle but still impactful...
