Please could you advise? I have a 2 year old car treated with Gardex. I have products with the car to wash with, but can I use other products? Could you advise in which order I should wash? Rinse, snow Foam, wash, rinse etc. Thanks in anticipation. Sue
@ObsessiveCarDetailer3 ай бұрын
Hello Sue, Gardex is just a form of protection often applied by dealerships. Im not a big fan of these products as they seldom last as long as you are lead to believe in my opinion. So let's take your questions in order. Yes you can use other products to wash the car & yes you can apply other products on to your car. Some people like to rinse the car first, others prefer to apply a pre wash. Depending on how dirty your car is you may want to rinse off as much dirt as possible or if its lightly dirty then apply snow foam and let it dwell for around 5 min but DO NOT let it dry on the car. Once the snow foam has dwelt then rinse it off before you contact wash the car, again do not let the soap dry on the car so if its hot maybe wash a panel at a time. After washing the car you then rinse and dry it before adding a sealant or a wax depending on your preference. If you live in a hard water area then do not let any products or even water dry on the car or you will creat a lot of work for yourself. Check out any of my video and any issues just drop me a comment and I will always get back to you. I hope this is of some help but like I said any worries just drop me a comment
