I am so excited to see you have the same experience I have had with this bag. The KZbinrs were hot and heavy with this video 4-years ago and since now pedal something new and you rarely hear about this anymore. BUT, it's been the absolute BEST bag I have ever owned. I have also had mine for over 4-years. I use it daily as a tech and camera bag and have been a digital nomad all that time. It still works so well as a camera/tech bag and looks very much like it was new. In mine, Sony A7IV, 2 Gmaster Lenses, Elgato StreamDeck XL, LED panel light (for the top of the camera), Macbook Pro M2 Max 16", iPad Pro 12.9" with keyboard, GoPro's, Several Power Bricks, loads of cables, DJI Air 2S/controller, SDD's, usually an extra shirt or 2. In the side pockets I have full first aid, including several Israel bandages (I ride motorcycles) and even self protection accessories. My point is I have used this thing HEAVY and have so abused it and not one issue in 4-years of doing it across 6 SE Asian countries. I LOVE this bag.

Yes!!! Exactly! That experience, much like mine over these years treating it really rough goes to show this bag really is one of the best, if not the best camera bag on the planet. I love mine to bits, but am still searching for the holy grail of camera bags 😂

It's so cool to see how you loadout your bag. Mine is so different but I just realized how much I'd love to see how different people load these out. Haha that is a great idea acting really lightweight when you go up to the check in counter at the airport.

It’s funny when I see other bags packed too, I’m like, that’s just weird packing 😂 It’s so personal isn’t it? Yep, once coming back from the Seychelles I had 26kg, and the guy at the counter said, can you put it on the scale, I’m like “oh shit”, and so I took it off, but as it doesn’t stand up I held it up a little until it said 8kg 😂 Lucky that was! 10kg allowance.

I agree 🤝. Unfortunately, I picked up the 350 instead of the 450, but it's still been with me for years.

Haha Philip, I have the same bag, had it for years! Thanks Peter McKinnon. However I prioritise rapid access to my cameras, so the top access panel has the A7S3 with the Tamron 35-150 f2-2.8 lens down, ready to reach in and pull out, and the two side access holes have the DJI Air 2s on the left and controller on the right. The centre storage slots have other lenses, batteries etc. What else surprises me is how much other equipment we have the same. Not just the A7S3, but the ZV1 (with wide angle lens adaptors and selfie tripod), the Peter McKinnon Polar Pro 2 variable NDs, the Sony f1.8 lenses etc. Would love to add one of those Newell chargers from your last video if I can find one in Australia. Now I just need to find another bag for the DJI RS2, Ninja V, monopod etc instead of rolling them up in jumpers and stuffing them into a duffel bag.
@PhillipSkraba

It's a fantastic bag, I know quite a few people who use it, have used others and then gone back to this bag. I sometimes stick the RS3 Mini inside, that fits. I don't usually take my Ninja anywhere though, feels like a hassle I don't need lol.

I also use this bag for years & Im super happy with it! For my drone, main camera & vlogging cam + the other standard stuff like batteries, filters etc. it’s a great back. The two side access doors I dont use. On one side I carry my tripod attached with the stripes.
@PhillipSkraba
@PhillipSkraba 10 ай бұрын
I've never really used the side access doors either as I usually take out almost everything when I'm out and about so I just set it down. It's no doubt the best bag I've ever used, mind you, I have a few more coming this month, so I'll see if anything finally beats it.

Great video. I bought half year ago similar bag from Tenba to be more precise Tenba Axis 24L. Its durable bag also decently comfortable to carry around whole day wasn't a problem for me. I would like to say it is more like rigid backpack with sturdy bottom and overall that bag should save any gear from damage during transport.

I got the same bag but I do wish they had side pockets for a water bottle and a tripod because I don't like to add those optionals bags because it makes it look really ugly. Ulanzi just released a bag that is cheaper and has a lot more pockets and it extents the front for clothing. But it's too late to return this one. It's fine, but I think the Ulanzi one is better from what I've seen online.
@PhillipSkraba
@PhillipSkraba 10 ай бұрын
Yes, there are people in the community who'd like a water bottle pocket and a tripod pocket built in. I've never ever used the accessories, much like yourself I can't be bothered with them, nor do I think they look good. I think a bag has to be practical, and it has to be well designed inside, but I also like it to look good, that's why the Ulanzi and definitely the Pgytech bags get crossed off my list, they look far too cheap and tacky in my personal opinion, just can't bring myself to wear them lol.

Haven't even watched the video yet (I will!) but yes, this is my bag as well and I absolutely love it. Managed to get it in a sale so saved a bit, but even if I'd paid full whack I'd still think it was a good deal. Simply my perfect bag for camera gear on the go. The new Ulanzi BP10 looks to be the only thing which might possibly come close...
@PhillipSkraba

I think I picked mine up for $150 from Amazon on sale too, and that was years ago, so great deal too. I like Ulanzi, they're my friends, but their backpack looks like a reject from an Italian leather goods store from 1996, I wouldn't be able to walk down the street with that thing 😂

@@misteral1083 Lol, just being honest. They use horrible material, it just looks cheap and tacky, I hate it. The design inside it also just not practical, so my Pgytech bags sit on a shelf, hidden from humanity.

Should try Shimoda Explore V2 series or their Action X series backpacks, I sold off my Lowepro Protactic 450 AW (still keeping my Protactic 250 AW though) and bought a Shimoda Explore 35L V2, Shimoda just blew my mind. Am considering a Summit Creative Tenzing 18L for daily use too, similar materials as Shimoda but price is lower. Another backpack to consider is Compagnon Element 21L or 31L, I believe the material used is even better than Shimoda's. Don't think I can go back towards Lowepro or Manfrotto until they come up with better packs.
