So true! As much as I adore your belt, my waist is so straight it would only emphasise it. It's funny the gloves, I've been so tempted to buy a pair in my colour palette. I am so jealous of your bag (I've been looking at vestiaire collective for years drooling over their vintage chanel...). Absolutely great episode. My pieces would be an A line brown skirt with buttons down the middle which is perfect in every way, my new high boots, a cream coloured coat and several flat interesting shoes that make my outfits feel instantly elevated.

After color analysis i've brought some second hand cozy, warm pullovers last winter and i have one in an dark orange colour that is my favourite and an mixed colors of warm greens , mustards , orange warm veste that i can combine with turtle necks and work perfect with trousers but also with midi skirts. I have received a beautiful purse in a warm coral with gold chains from my best friend and this summer i wore some of my dresses in olive, mustard , terracotta reds so often. This autumn i brought a nice pumpkin color midi jacket that i wore it so often during windy /rainy days. I've definitely brought so many new favourites in my palette and really enjoyed this journey so far.😊

I always have at least one pair of olive green cotton pants in my wardrobe. That’s my first base color as an autumn and relatively easy to find. Chocolate brown cashmere sweater. Browns are another group of base colors for me, more so in leather goods and makeup than clothes but I’m leaning into espresso and chocolate more. Well fitted running shoes. A good pair of waterproof snow boots. I also wear a good amount of gold/mustard.

I found a winter jacket in olive green at Resales this winter. Normally the brand costs 500 to 1000 Euro and I got it for about 100. It is my favourite coat now. Also my "aviator boots" I like and my "bookworm dress". And for cozy days my corderoid pants in petrol and olive green. They are the first things that come to mind for me.

This year, I have loved and lived in my wool coat and trench coat, loafers, Adidas sambas trainers, Levi’s jeans, high waisted large wool trousers, wool blazers, cashmere jumpers, silver rings. I have curated a small wardrobe for years, and I have to say at nearly age 40, I feel aligned with what I feel inside and what I want to project to the outside style-wise ❤ Have a happy healthy new year!

Thanks for your videos- they’re always so helpful. In winter, in particular, I feel I have a lot of stuff I like but little I love although I have a coat I’ve had for years and some maroon ankle boots I wear to death. I’m going to try thinking more about what I like about an outfit - it’s easy to drift into old habits!

Hello, I'm 58 and live in US and recently got my colors done again for I think the 4th time in my life. Each time they have said I was some kind of Spring (most recently Blue spring). I have been slowly going gray over the past several years and still have a hint of gold in my hair (no color treatment in my hair), but mostly looks like an ash light brown maybe? I have brown gray and a hint of gold. I used to have strawberry blonde hair with blue eyes and freckles. I have heard women with red hair and blue eyes go against all rules and completely change seasons. When I put on the bright colors now they seem too bright and so I've been going more with summer colors. I'm not sure what to do and am confused.

It seems like it makes sense when I'm there getting it done, but it doesn't seem right when I get home And try to make total outfits with the colors. I just did an experiment with 4 season fabric drapes that my mom had and after doing those I like the autumn drapes the best. Wondering if maybe autumn colors are looking better because my hair is more muted

I'm a Soft Summer and I still wear quite a bit of black, just not as a main colour near my face. Black trousers, skirts, shoes/boots even a black bag, I wear all of these regularly but I make sure that whatever I wear on the top half of my body are my colours. My main winter coat is charcoal and I'm looking to thrift one either in navy or in a cool-toned camel.

I wish everyone a Happy New Year! Your cape is totally wonderful, and I love your tie! It gives authority - and also 'edge'. I gave myself permission to dress with less thought of what others think this year. 'Life is not a dress-rehearsal' was my 2024 motto and I really tried to live up to it. I also had my 'colours done' for the first time and can totally recommend the investment. It's worth it to go to someone professional who has an experienced, objective eye and spends quality time going through all the drapes and giving advice. I never usually have so much time and care focused on me. It was one of the most memorable and rewarding things I did this year.

@@sarahryanthestylecoach That is a very good question! I often let fear get the better of me, sometimes crippled by it, so either 'the fear is in my head' or 'now is the only time'. Work in progress....
