I really grew up listening to Mearle Haggard , but after I heard how him and his manager cleaned out Waylon in a poker game then left and never spoke to Waylon again really surprised me. And I mean around 7 thousand bucks. I loved Waylon too. I hate that happened and both of them passed on without ever making things right. I wish Mearle would have spent more time to get to know his other son Scott also.
