Oxygen OS is always killing apps for whatever reason. I have a similar issue with my Gmail. Nevertheless, another great video from Sam!

Same here but i fixed it, maybe this will help you, i disabled all the advanced battery saving features and then made the gmail and other apps battery settings as don't optimise, then lock these apps in the memory

Tweak settings in your battery section. Go to developer options, Background Process Check, and disable the apps you don't use from there. This might save battery. Also keep your phone always in SYNC to receive notifications on time

Excellent job 👌👌👌 I actually agree on the midrange or the lower budget flagship too, they are super close in terms of speed and performance to the flasghip just lacking some extra cameras or what but gives you the best value for money. Also, regarding your answer to the IOS question, I have the same too. I've been using Android for so long and I have been accustomed to how the notifications are and the toggles, I find it hard using IOS for a long time. I tend to get confused on where to go to turn some quick toggles on and I get bored easily on how simple IOS is.

Hi, thanks for the video, did you try Any.Do ? this is a great productivity app. As for the midrange devices, another point to take into account is that most top high end devices are getting the most recent updates from Google and midrange usually not.

Just tried it out based on your recommendation! Looks like it also has snoozable notifications, which is great! If it was free to add recurring tasks, then I'd probably start trying it full time. The design is also pretty solid, but not in the same league as Memorigi unfortunately. Thanks for the recommendation though, it might just get a feature on the channel!

I've used Nova for a long time and haven't noticed any slow down.

It doesn't slow the phone down per se, but it does make the animations a little less smooth, which can be perceived as making the phone feel slower. Does that make sense?
