The Campagnolo mechanical shift is far superior to Shimano. The only Shimano shift that comes close is the original SiS 7400 8 speed which is a joy to use.
@klein-concept9 ай бұрын
Oh really? Never tried Campag. Which exact group would you recommend most?
@banjo71279 ай бұрын
@@klein-concept I would say so, modern Shimano is very soft and flimsy feeling. You could relate it to a flappy paddle gearbox from a VAG vs a manual gearbox from a Porsche. I would say 11v is better than 12v but both are great. I would stick to the top 3 Super Record, Record & Chorus. The feel/operation and features of the top 3 are all identical. All have carbon cranks and varying levels of carbon used throughout, and weights are not too far apart from each model. Chorus sits between Ultegra and DA in terms of weight and material technology so is definitely the best bang for buck option. Personally I would source an 11 speed super record groupset.

Wow, the year passed by quickly. I started watching when you built up that Daccordi and I am glad you continued with more content. I like your no nonsense style. Funny you should mention about others starting a channel. I have been think of that for a few months. I have a bike build in the works and was thinking about starting the channel with that. What camera, mic and lighting are you using? Your videos have a great look to them. All the best.

Go for it. Really. That sounds like the perfect project to get things started. Regarding the gear that i m using. Most of the time i film with a Sony ZV E10 but this video was filmed with the DJI Pocket 3. I think even an iPhone on a small tripod can work equally well. Regarding the lights i use a Zhiyun G60 with a large softbox for the build videos and a cheap Osram led tube light on the other side. And for some background colors you can use almost every cheap rgb led lights from Amazon. The ones i use are the small RGB ones from Godox. Hope that helps 🤜🤛

Not currently. I have owned many steel bikes in the past, but never titanium. Have been seriously considering titanium now though. Unusually though, I would order one painted. I understand the attraction of the raw titanium finish, but I like my bikes to have some colour. My current bike is aluminium. I love the direct feel from the stiffness and 28mm tyres take the harshness out of the ride....
