Based on all the reviews out there I thought I was the only one who really enjoyed the cloudmonster hyper lol. For me personally I loved the fit of this with a roomy toe box and responsiveness in the forefoot. Recently I've been doing most of my runs in these as it's so fun to run in! Great review by the way, everything was super thorough!

From here in the States on 1 Jan morning, great work this year! Tech ?: I’m keen to try the Neo Zen. But, the booty upper gives me pause. Would you consider it a reg or more of a narrow last? Would you recommend TTS?

@acherfun I'd say it's a slightly wider last- especially through the forefoot with the mesh, I'd say its still a good idea to go true to size if buying online- in store its been the general result when trying them on with customers 😀

Peg plus is my trail long run, definitely lacking in grip (can’t understand why they don’t cover the full outsole in grip like the peg 41) but it’s got just the right amount of Cush to make it through the LR but not too much for the trail

I rate that- i feel like once you get used to it it's plenty protective. Used it for 4x5km at marathon pace and felt great

Good channel. But just some constructive criticism. Talk a touch slower and get a better mic. Then message will come through much clearer 👍👌

so confused if the cloudboom strike is going to be a good purchase for me. other reviewers seems to like it but it isn't in their top tier list. i'm a rear midfoot striker, can i get the most out of the ride that you gave mentioned in your video?

@@jenit.v id say you probably wouldn't get the "most" if you're not striking right onto that chunk of foam- but that doesn't necessarily mean it won't feel good- I reckon it's one to try on in store if there's the chance

I'm so intrigued by those Qiaodan Qinghong super lights, what's their durability like? Is it something you'd save for a fast 5km?

Durability is not going to be any good- my bet is it'll be done by 100km so truly is something to save for race day

Great review, love the humble/honest feedbacks. What's your thought on adidas sl2 vs it's newer evo sl? I'm looking for a daily trainer shoe between these 2

@byaku92 I'd say the sl2 is a fair bit more traditional- flatter and less rockered, is say a bit softer and more plush but not as responsive. Evo Sl definitely more refined and protective- better all rounder for long runs

Thoughts on alphafly 3? Hoka Cielo x1?

@AG_UofT alphafly 3 would have been 4 or 5 for me- I land in a supinated position so I find the airpods a little harsh on the outside edge of my foot- otherwise the ride is top tier. Didn't like the cielo x1 for anything more than uptempo long runs- really felt the weight
