You’re not getting old. You just have taste. It needs to sound super nice not nasty. The new exhaust sounds very nice and clean to me. Smooth. Comparing it to a 2 stroke is good. I love the sound of a nicely tuned 2 stroke. I say add the stickers to the wheels.

Thank you. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who wasn't a fan of the existing exhaust. It sounds way better now. Total dirt bike sound but also a little throatier at lower rpm. This was one of my dream cars growing up. I'm a little older than you so that's why. You have slowly but surely gotten a wickedercand wickeder.

I think for the stickers, just do the Evo stickers. It keeps it sort of simple, the red ties in with the brakes and the marker lights, and it still shows that they're legit not just knock offs. That's just my opinion but I think that'd look sick 🤷‍♂️

Same exact thing that I had with my DS's on my RX-8. Straight out of the box, the rear settled perfectly and the front was super low. I think I did 4 full turns out on the front and it raised it perfectly

My truck sounded like that when i had too big of tubing. Sounded bad at lower rpm because the velocity wasn't fast enough and makes the pulses resonate inefficiently. There are calculators online for figuring out what size tubing to use so the velocity is correct. The diameter is important for keeping an NA engine efficient but for turbo builds people will slightly oversize. 4" probably sounds great with 1000hp at wide open throttle.

@1:08 ive never seen anyone exhaust wrap there titanium exhaust system. that way you keep it light, but you eliminate that tiney sound as you are are dampening the vibrations with the exhaust wrap. would love to see how well htis works on titanium exhaust!

@MrAdamLz. win they made the rx7 one of the heads of the project was a drifter back in the early years of it drifting here is rather new but over there it been going on since the 80s but he tried to make a car that was able to street drift ez with little modes.
