Container it over to the US this summer and cap it off with Monterey car week in August. You’d really enjoy road tripping it. The honeymoon phase with an exotic is special.

Would be incredible

Only 2 uk supplied 458’s finished in vinaccia to my knowledge, the other has a light interior and has been crashed and repaired. Supposedly vinaccia is supposedly a colour match to the purple ink that old man Ferrari used to sign all his documents.

Thanks- this is great info!

@TFJJ I saw one in this colour I think on collecting cars , or maybe auto trader. Suspect you must have been the buyer!

You have to drive more in RACE mode to get more out of the car, everything is sharper, SPORT mode has a lot of electronic interference, slower accelerator, slower gear changes, etc... Gorgeous spec!!

Thanks!! Will give it a try at some point for sure, just taking it easy to begin with

@TFJJ sensible! I had my 458 in race a day after buying it and got it a bit out of shape (slight brown trouser moment!). Also, the gear shifts are so quick in race, that you don't even notice them shifting, so sometimes it's nice to have it back in sport because the gear change I find is more visceral (almost like they program in to a lot of more modern cars!)

Love the video and your thoughts on the 458 Italia! It's always great to see such detailed updates, especially on such a unique color like Vinaccia. I'd love to discuss a collaboration with you and possibly sponsor you with our Ferrari CarPlay module or our 458 to 488 LED taillight upgrade. Let me know if you're interested!

It's a good daily car? I'm considering in buying one
@TFJJ8 ай бұрын
Probably could daily it, but would have to live with the fuel cost and depreciation of big mileage!

Are you putting miles just to put miles on the car so you can say you drive your cars?

No, I’m driving it to enjoy it

Owning a car like that in the UK must be the worst. Not only is gas or "petrol" ridiculous in the uk, but you have speed cameras literally everywhere (over 7,000 in uk alone). Also, if it was my ferrari, the first thing i would do is change the color.
